My children had a check up and that seemed to go well, they loved the ambiance of the office. There is a lot to play with and on there.
However, when it came to the fillings needed my daughter was uncomfortable and they did not let me back with her. They did not like that I did not want them to use gas for a filling. I have had them as a child and felt it unnecessary for them to gas my child. They didn't even come get me when she was hurting because of novicane problems. She was asking for me. She got up and they told her she had until the count of 3 to get back on the table or she could never come back. My daughter did not budge. They brought her to me and said she was not cooperating. She kept saying to me she wanted to go as she was crying. One of the nurses even said looking into her eyes, ""You scared all my patients."" They did this in front of everyone in the waiting room. I would have appreciated privacy for this conversation and also I think it deplorable that a pediatric dentist does not know how to handle a scared child with love and respect. They only know how to gas them. My daughter and I were told to go somewhere else. I have also canceled the appointments I had already had for my other children.
My daughter was traumatized and freaked out if we even drove near there fearing we were going there.
Their office is cool looking, but they need more focus on caring and less on looking good. I have learned since that there are plenty of places out there that allow parents back and that do not gas up your child for simple procedures. The fact they do not is a sign they are sub-par. I will never go back.
