My husband has had glaucoma for fourteen years. During that time the eye pressure has spiked to 40 at times. Last November his ophthalmologist could do no more for him, so he sent him to Dr. Usha Bulusu. After examining him she explained and demostrated on a model, what had to be done and what the results might be, at the time he couldn't make out the top letter on the eye chart. All she could do is relieve the pressure. Making no promises of improved eyesight she did the surgery the next day. Three months later this kind, caring doctor not only brought his pressure down to 6, but he can now read the first four lines on the eye chart. At no time did he ever feel anything but that he was the most important patient each time she saw him. Many thanks to her and her wonderful staff. more

I was extremely satisfied with my experience at the Eye Care Specialists of Michigan and Dr. Bulusu. She is a very competent and caring physician. Unlike other doctors, in my experience, she didn't just run in and out. She took the time to explain my condition and my options. Her staff is extremely courteous. Their new office is absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend her to anyone. more
