My patio door was jammed, broken and barley operational. Me and my wife called 4 different shop to come and fix it and 3 of them told us no way to fix it and we have to go with new door. Well Terry from Bulls glass had a different idea. with ~300 repair the door work perfect. more

Nice Small Family Oriented Business 10/19/2010

We needed a full remodel of our bath and kitchen, and i have to tell you, without Bulls Glass help, we might of gave up before we even start the project. Everything needed to be customize, and Terry from Bulls knew exactly what we needed and how to get it in there. We spent around 4000 for all the mirrors with bevel, heavy showerdoors, new windows for bath and kitchen and glass cabinet and glass shelves, for project that we thought, because everything was custome, to be around 6000 to 8000. They did do a great job and i will be recommanding them to friends and family and those in citysearch community. I am one happy customer. :-D more

They have got what you need 10/6/2010

Bull's glass was able to locate some difficult to find windows that I needed for an upscale home remodel that I have been working on. I was having trouble locating a particular type of window and they were able to do it for me. I had been quoted as much as triple the price by other companies! more

Foul Mouthed Employee 9/30/2010

In the past six years, I have bought some window screens from Bulls without any issues. Bulls has always been courteous and professional. Last week, I placed an order to get a broken window replaced with a tempered window. I was told that someone needs to come for measurements and I was given an estimate. Somebody came on Monday and again yesterday to replace the window. I then got a call that I will be charged more for tempered glass, and I said ok. Today afternoon, I came to pick up the new invoice and found out that I had been charged $20 for someone to come and take the measurements. I was upset and told the employee. a short gray-haired man, who seemed Iranian judging by his accent, that all charges out to be revealed upfront and this is the last time I will do business with them. I was upset and stormed out of the shop not closing the sliding door gently. As I was about to drive off, the same employee came outside and started saying mockingly "Calm down, calm down,,, you could have broken my door glass...". I told him to get lost. He then told me "F*** You". I was incredulous and shocked and got out of my car since I didn't believe someone would actually say that to their customer. He came up to me and repeated several times "F*** You". I told him that he was being an A**hole and that I had everything captured on my iPhone. He told me that he didn't care and threateningly told me that he has my address. We started commenting on each other's physical characteristics. I started to drive off and he called me "Mo**** F****" several times. This was too much; I got out of my car and shouted at him that how dare he treat customers like this. His fellow employees took this foul mouthed person inside and I left. Now I'm deciding whether to post the video of the incident to YouTube or not! more

Good Shop and Great Experiance 2/24/2010

I asked Bulls to come and give me estimate on changing windows and some heavy shower doors. They came and gave me estimate on all work. I decided to get multi proposal from other companies. After several Quotes, I found another shop that they gave me lower price. So i decided to go with them. They came and measure for final bid, and never called me again. After 8 days, on a Monday i called to see whats the status on, and they told me "sorry we haven't order one of the shower doors cause we might not be able to install Neo-Angel shower. I was pissed, i hanged up and called bulls and went with them. 4 days after they called me and asked me all the shower doors to be installed, and a week after the windows were ready to be install. The installers were so nice and friendly, Service was great, and they were done exactly at the time they say they will finish. I am happy withe them and i will stay with them as long as they keep their service like this. Thanks Bulls Pros: Clean, Polite, On time, knowledgeable about their work, Cons: Their Hours more

Friendly, Helpful and Honest! 12/15/2009

I have been going to Bull's for many years now, even before the change in ownership. I love the new owners - it's a family business and they are so friendly and helpful. They always give me a discount and their technicians, Terry and Steve have been to my house numerous times, and I can't say enough about how friendly and happy they are each time. They are all incredible people and I would definitely recommend Bulls! Pros: Great Customer Service more

Bull's used to be great 1/28/2009

Just a comment about Bull's. They used to be a great business. But Bull's sold it about 10 years ago to a new owner, and the level of quality and customer responsiveness is now poor. I would not now recommend Bull's to a prospective customer. more

Absolutely Horrible 11/11/2008

After Bulls installer damaged my kitchen cabinets (custom paint) I went through a nearly comical routine with the owner...he refuses to take full responsibility and evidently, has no insurance. I faxed him the repair quote, and to his credit, at least offered to pay half of the bill. I I responded that I did not feel that half was appropriate due to the fact that his people caused the damage, and he SLAMMED DOWN the phone! It was like negotiating with a child. Pros: They can't install a glass door without dragging it across the ceiling first and then into the kitchen cabinets. Wait. Pros? None. Cons: They hang up on customers who want damaged cabinets fixed. more

BAD Sales Practices ? 2 !! 8/13/2008

jojo321 is absolutely correct as I had a very similar experience.. Pros: Some of the folks are OK to deal with Cons: Quoted prices do not mean anything more

Great Service, and Good Worksmanship 7/3/2007

Well i have to agree with StayBlue in here. I did very much enjoyed communicating with them, and based on their long experiance servicing people of SJ, they helped me more than i could of ask for. I guess right way of communication is the best way to work with them, otherwise i recommand people go to Home Depot. I very much like these people and i will recommand them to my neighbors. Thanks for the great and helpful comment StayBlue. Pros: Good service and work Cons: Don't accept AMX or Discover more

JOJO you need to shop around 6/28/2007

I went to Bulls last month with a problem with my Sliding Patio Door. I have Shop around in San Jose for anyone, any price to fix my door. Anyone that saw my door, evantually told me that i need brand new doors. The prices very due to diffrent companies, starting from Home Depot ( $4000) to Pella Doors ($8500). A guy at OSH told me to go to Bulls in San Jose and they might be able to help me out. First i have to say they were very nice to me at the front desk and found a best time to come and see my door by charging $45 estimate fee. Their Installer came ( what a nice guy) and said "Ohh yes we can do this for you no problem". That right there was a big load of my shoulder to hear that from him. HE told me he is been working at Bulls for more than 15 years and he has dealt with same situation before. The charge came to 300+, mostly labor, and now the door works perfect. Pros: Great service, great worksman ship and Great people. I enjoyed working with them. Cons: Working with picky customer, who don't appreciate good work. more

BAD sales practices!! 6/27/2007

I called Bull's because our realtor recommended them (last time she's doing that!). I needed a large mirror replaced in our bathroom. I talked to "Abdul" who quoted me a price for removal of the old mirror, the cost of the new mirror + installation. He told me if they came and took down the mirror on Weds. they could cut the new mirror and have the new one installed on Friday. Great! They come Weds. and take down the mirror. Unbeknownst to me, my husband pays the fee to have the mirror removed. LATE Thurs. afternoon they call me to tell me they have to special order the mirror and it won't be installed until next Weds. (they knew the size of the mirror when they gave me the original quote and Abdul said "no problem we can cut the glass here, that's what we do"). Right. So, back to Thurs. and the phone call. They tell me the cost at this point without a whole lot of details (i.e. "It will be $758"). Ok, that's just $20 more than you originally quoted me for the whole deal so I'm thinking I can live with that. Fast forward to install day... The $758 is just for the mirror, they've already collected $250 for taking down the old one (recall, I didn't know this when they gave me the $758 quote). Plus, they want to charge add'l money for the adhesive to put up the mirror (like I'd want to have a 10' long mirror just resting against the wall????!). BAD BAD BAD. Installer guy was very nice, just happens to work for a bad co. DO NOT use these people, you'll just ending paying a lot more money for hassle and broken promises. If they'd told me the time frame and actual cost originally, I wouldn't be upset. My expectations would have been different (and I'd probably have shopped around more). First rule of business: Don't make promises you can't keep! Deliver on your promises and don't set unrealistic expectations. Advice: Shop around, there are many other glass companies in the Valley that are most likely much more ethical in their business practices!!! Pros: The guy who actually did the work was very nice and very competent Cons: Don't deliver on their promises and they charge far more than quoted. more

Best work with Reasonable prices 6/14/2006

I went to this shop with having no hope of finding a part for my window after 6 months of searching. First of all 2 of their experiance employee did their best to help me out and after they found the part, they got it for me. Because of first impression i took my screen to them and they did a great job for me. and now they have gave me a very good price to change my shower door and windows. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who axpect a good job for all their glass and screen needs. I know i will never deal with anyother glass shops, as i had bad experiance with couple of them before. Now everytime i go there they know me and they smile and help me they best they can with a smile. This store been here for 40 something years and its no wonder they have been here for so long. Pros: Great service and great work Cons: far away from my house more
