A bad bad place that is not a fun friendly place for kids. No shoes, no light weight balls, cover charge at the door, broken games, poor prize selection, unenthusiastic employees.

Bulldog Lanes 3/20/2006

This is the best place to go for lunch. You can get 2 games of bowling, shoe rental, and lunch all for under $7.00. This is very fun to do with a group of co-workers. It isn't very easy to get both games in under an hour, so make sure you have plenty of time. There is a cover on the weekends. I don't go at that time. It would be nice to have a bowling alley in town that doesn't charge a cover. more

Bowling, Games, and More 8/20/2005

Here is a great place for family entertainment. They have 20 bowling lanes so you are sure to always find one open. The lanes are state of the art and fun to play on no matter of the age or skill level. They also have many arcade games that the kids love to play. If you get hungry you buy lunch there too. You can also rent the place for church youth events or birthday parties. Try them out you are sure to have fun! more

Bowling and Games 8/20/2005

The Bulldog lanes is a nice, new bowling alley located in Starkville. They have many lanes, but are often crowded on the weekend. Be aware that they charge a cover to get in on the weekend (yes - it's a bowling alley - not a bar). It's a bit of a teenage hangout and there have been some fights break out where the police had to even be called. If you want to bowl the best time to go is in the afternoon. They have a deli and serve lunch specials for $6 or so that include a free game of bowling. They also do parties for children and have bumpers. more
