My sister and I stopped in for lunch on a recent Monday afternoon, about 2pm. Business slow, so we expected good service. Not only were the menus sticky, and smelly, the server failed to mention any specials. We didnt know we werent told about them, until the other server was kindly explaining them to a table next to us. The drinks were served in a timely manner. We shared Nachos with Buffalo Chicken, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, jalapenos, and cheese and also an order of Cheeseburger Sliders. The nachos were at first a visually appealing , large dish, until it arrived. As we attempted to remove a single chip, another 12 were attached to it,stuck with overcooked, hard cheese. The buffalo chicken was a frozen, breaded patty, cut into pieces, thrown on top, and it was all cold. The sliders also looked appetizing. They had pickles, cheese and an onion ring on it, speared with a toothpick. The first bite was average, the meat was fresh, and cooked medium. The onion ring was bland. The slider bun was stale, and instantly crumbled upon eating. \r

The 2nd order of drinks, beer, were not cold, but more than luke warm. The trip to the ladies room, was frightening. The bathroom was severely outdated, run down, and in total need of a makeover. I will not be rushing back here by any means. It is a shame, for it is an old, historic building, that could flourish with a little TLC, and servers and chefs who actually cared about their jobs.
