Good deals 10/11/2005

The only reason I gave this store four stars instead of five is the cleanness of the store. Whenever I leave the store I feel I should hurry up and wash my hands. I always find all kinds of good deals here. Last week I purchased a Halloween make up kit for fifty cents! I also purchased some Halloween napkins for under a dollar. The reason I went to the store in the first place was to buy a framed photo of the New England Patriots. It was in the weekly add for $24.99. On the same day it was in a different stores add for $99.00. The frames might have been a little bit different but otherwise they were the same. Besides my eleven year old isn't going to know the difference! more

Good stuff cheap 6/21/2005

If you don't mind getting dirty in the hunt for a bargain, then you should consider a trip to Building 19 3/4 in Norwood. They have bits of everything in a great big warehouse setting. Strangely, the grime in the store is part of their marketing scheme. When you leave you feel like you really need a shower, but that is part of the charm. The samples department has some great buys, and the prices can't be beat on the bound carpet remnants - great for dorms or first apartments. more
