The Builder’s Bargain Center is one strange little place. You never know what you are going to find there. They have windows, doors, wood, cabinets, and who knows what else. On my last adventure there (it really is an adventure), I picked up a couple of small pieces of wood for a craft project for $0.20 a piece. I think they would have been a couple of bucks a piece at a craft store. I’ve seen bathtubs, railings, and French doors there, all at a pretty deep discount. It’s a fun place to browse, but you can’t expect to find exactly what you need. Also, some of their building materials are “B” grade, and might not meet code, so while you may not want to build a house with some of their items, they could be just perfect for a playhouse. Just go check it out – you might be surprised at what you find.
