Build-A-Bear Workshop

The Build a Bear location in the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville is great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bear building process was rather quick, it was the selection of the bears clothing that took forever! they do have prepackaged outfits for the bears that are priced better than the individual items. I do think the bears and clothing are a little pricey. By the time my daughter made and dressed her bear we were in for $50. Needless to say we don't do Build A Bear often :-o more

I experienced the fun of Build A Bear for the first time in 2004. I wanted to make a special present for my cousin who was acting as my flower girl in my wedding. They had the cutest little dolls with yarn hair and a ton of different plush animals. You select an animal and take them to the stuffer. You or the child gets to push the pedal to add stuffing. You also take a paper heart, make a wish, and stick it inside the animal before its sealed. After the animal is finished, you can pick out tons of outfits and accessories for the animals. They're quite expensive especially if you get carried away. If you're on a budget you'd want to keep your children out of this store! Its fun but pricey! The animals are good quality and completely adorable. more

Terrific, fun experience for kids. My kids loved it, and loved the animals they made here (they carried them everywhere they went for days and days). Only one warning- if you're on a budget, watch the accessories. We let the kids pick whatever they wanted for their animals (clothing and all), and when it was over, it was about $50 per child once all the accessories were added up. Not a big deal for the gift, but a lot more than my wife expected after seeing the relatively cheap price on the basic bear (her eyes bugged out). Still, the animals and the experience are high quality and very worthwhile. more

My kids and I had so much fun at this store. From picking out the perfect bear, to completing the assembly line building of the bear, putting in the magic gold bean (don't forget the wish) and then picking out the perfect outfit. We can't wait to go back. more

This is a unique toy store. They have got a lab where you can build your own bear with the characteristics you like. Its lots of fun for all the family and its very useful if you want to buy a present and you have no idea of what to buy. more
