Buffet Dynasty Matthews

Our family went to Buffet Dynasty for dinner on 6/17/11. We arrived about 6:15 pm. This is dinner time, right? The crowd was good. The food was good, however, it was not hot by any means. The amount of food was scarce as well. By 7:00 pm, the crowd was really good. However, for at least 30 mins, they were out of fried rice, noodles, egg rolls, fried chicken drummies/wings, sugared donut rolls and more. They replaced each tray one at a time and VERY slowly. This is ridiculous when you're paying over $14 per person for a dinner buffet! The gentleman told us the sushi chef had left and it left them short-handed. Who's problem it that? Not the customers that's for sure! If they have only 1/2 the food out .... It should be 1/2 the price! Not a good experience at all! And .... they were inspected on 6/14/11 and the rating has dropped to a 92.5. VERY DISAPPOINTING! We've eaten there alot of times in the past and it was really great!!! more

Buffet Dynasty is our family favorite! Even my 5-year-old loves it. The food is fresh and delicious, the offerings are varied and the price is right. Very friendly staff and uber-clean environment complete the experience. Pros: Immediate seating, delicious food, great price more

Buffet Dynasty is a reasonably priced buffet ? only $13.95 on weekends. They have a good assortment of traditional Chinese options as well as a lot of unexpected seafood. Everything tasted good, my only complaint is that the buffet items weren?t hot ? they weren?t cold, but more like room temperature. The Chinese fare presented at this buffet is not your typical Chinese food found in the area. It is authentic. It is well prepared and justified by the many Chinese patrons. In short, it is like dining in any of the Chinatowns of San Francisco or New York City. The stunning decor is always spotless while an attraction reserved for interior designers and Architects. more
