. 01/25/11VERY POOR LIEING MANAGEMENT (Debbie) and FORECLOSEING by low_voltage at Citysearch VERY POOR LYING MANAGEMENT & FAST TO KEEP YOUR MONEY & BANK IS FORECLOSEING FOR NON-PAYMENT & THIS PLACE CAN NOT GET (DSL) Or (COMCAST) SERVICE! FOR THOSE WHO NEED INTERNET SERVICE THIS IS NOT THE PLACE ? My company had rented a room on January 2011 for a month @ the Buffalo Valley Inn on 3637 Highway 82 Glenwood Springs, Colorado After being here for a week, waiting for management (Debbie) to install Wi-Fi, Management (Debbie) then said Terry (owner) didn’t want the have the Wi-Fi integrate? Calling Qwest for DSL service I was informed they didn’t service this area? Upon calling Comcast for internet service, was told it was not available here? Per Management (Debbie)(Terry) will NOT ALLOW THIS to be install in any units other then the office. THIS PLACE CAN NOT GET (DSL) Or (COMCAST) SERVICE! FOR THOSE WHO NEED INTERNET SERVICE THIS IS NOT THE PLACE ? In the same week we had been with out maid service? I went down and talked to management (Debbie) I was informed that they had NO maid service! I would have to clean my our room and wash our own towels? And provide my own toilet paper and cleaning supplies. At the monthly price you think that you would included toilet paper? Along with linen changing? To keep the room clean & sanitary and up keep of the room After discussing the concerts with management (Debbie)! Was informed that we can move out? But management (Debbie) will not refund what you have paid for the month? On the 12th of January, the refrigerator freezer had went out, after talking with management (Debbie) she was going to find someone repair the refrigerator freezer? Management (Debbie) then said you can put your food in # 6 until we get the repair man to come out. Management had give us a key to #6. On the 16th management had rented room #6 to someone in to and never told us? and we walked in on them? This was very disrespectful for us and the renters! Management (Debbie) then called me 3 days later and said owner (Terry) was going to buy a new refrigerator? Can you measure the refrigerator On the 28th of January we had done some low voltage work for management (Debbie) upon completion of work, management (Debbie) said they would pay us on Monday. On 1st of February management had called @ 8:00 AM asking for payment or I need to move out? I reminded management (Debbie) we are paid up until the 8th of February? She had forgotten And upon check out on the 8th of February of 2011 the issue with the refrigerator freeze and Payment for work was never resolved? On the On February 4th 2011 we had learned that from pubic records that that had not been making payments and the bank was foreclosing on them and had liens file on the property for non payment of work being done Management also has issues with RECORD KEEPING? Not sure if it’s the Management (Debbie)(Terry) Owners that are not very have honest! I ask to speak with to the owner about some issues! Management (Debbie) made it very clear that would never happen !!! ANYONE RENTING HERE !!! BEWARE OF MANAGEMENT IS VERY FAST TO KEEP YOUR MONEY "THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AT THE BUFFLAO VALLEY INN, LLC" BE SURE TO GET A RECEIPT? more

My family just spent a long weekend in Glenwood Springs,for our childerens Spring Break, And WOW did we have a great time! The natural hot springs pool was amazing. But best of all, was our dinner at the Buffalo Valley! The owner/chef, prepred a Srimp Scampi,tableside, which our kids thought was the greatest!it was delicious! My husband had the Prime rib, which he said was the Best he ever had, and trust me, he knows his Prime rib! We were pleasently surprised with the prices aswell. All the prices include a huge salad bar, plus two sides. All for really resonable prices. No more of the ala carte pricing.The chef, which we came to learn is from Switzerland, and was very personable and friendly. He knew most of all the costumers by name and greeted and said good night to each and everyone of them.( if he wasn't doing his tableside cooking.) The locals obviously come back not just for the food but also his charm. We had such a great evening there! With the pool and the Buffalo Valley, We all can't wait for our next trip to Glenwood Springs!!!!!! Pros: Great menu, something for everyone! You have your chioce of a romantic setting area,or The Fun western log cabin setting. Cons: We can't eat there everyday. (we live in Denver) more

The food was so bad we could not eat it. The owner was verbally threatening. The rooms looked like the rooms on TV where the prostitutes work. We were actually concerned for our physical well being within a very short amount of time. On a positive note - the band was really great. However, the rumor is they won't be going back either. Pros: can't think of any right now Cons: many many many-- too numerous to mention more

If you have the option of eating here or eating shoe leather, go for the shoes! The service is a joke! When we complained that the food was no exactly edible, the waitress didn't even acknowledge that she heard us. I hunted down the manager who actually listened to my complaints; specifically that the bbq chicken had been cooked so long the bones were mushy and the meat tasted like library paste, that the "prime rib" that was ordered medium came out bloody and cool to the touch, and that the spaghetti was so salty my 13 year old, who was hungry, couldn't eat it. If you can't get a teenager to eat spaghetti, it's GOT to be bad! She took the complaints to the owner, who didn't even come to the table or talk to us. Instead they sent the poor waitress to tell us that they weren't going to take anything off the check, even though we didn't eat it. We were seeing a concert that night, so we grudgingly moved to another table. Then the owner comes over to yell at us because he didn't feel we left enough money for a tip for the waitress. I am not joking, this obnoxious Russian is yelling at me, saying we have no class and that he r=ns a classy establishment and I wouldn't know good food if it h=t me in my fat face. I am really not kidding; he is yelling this at the top of his lungs in the middle of the restaurant. I have eaten everywhere from Julias Kitchen to Ruths Chris to McDonalds, and Micky D's is preferable!! We unfortunately booked a room at this road house dive. During the concert the p=t smokers started coming out, right in public. This is billed as a family establishment. We left the concert that we had driven 5 hours to see. The room is pathetic. There was exactly 1- 40 watt light bulb, 1 bath towel and 2 washcloth?s for 4 people. I am serious, I have pictures to prove it! We left when the dr=g deals started happening in the parking lot. Bottom line, if you find yourself stuck at this sleezebag cafe, turn around and go back to Glenwood Springs! Pros: It's close enough to the highway that you can turn around and go back to Glenwood for real food and lodging Cons: Overprices, horrible service, a total dive more
