funky consignment store 4/16/2006

This store has a wide selection of clothes that are both funky for the daring and popular name brand for the not so daring. They carry both mens and womens as well as shoes, purses and accessories. The prices are super low although the store can really be hit or miss. Sometimes I'll find tons of stuff or nothing at all. You can sell or trade your clothes here, but they are kinda picky when its comes to stuff so don't be offended if they don't buy everything you bring in. The staff is one of the nicer ones I've seen in consignment stores in LA. more

For the Clothing Addicted 2/27/2006

Buffalo Exchange gives you a chance to do something with those old castoffs. Clothing that might normally go into the trash or a bag for Goodwill can be recycled for cash or credit with them! A few times a year they have a blowout sale with bins on the sidewalk, the whole nine yards. more

Cool Clothes 12/30/2005

Nothing may be greater than finding a hard to find, practically one of a kind piece of apparel. Well, Buffalo Exchange on La Brea Ave. makes this easier. They buy and sell second-hand clothes. Some great out of date concert t-shirts are included in the mix. Some neat colorful shirts, vintage clothing, etc. Prices are pretty good. It really depends on what they have coming in to the store. However, shopping there can make a nice time out, seeing that it takes time to look through all the clothes to find something great and there is just so much from which to choose. The store is nicely located on North La Brea Avenue; surrounding businesses include some other great second-hand and vintage stores (such as Jet Rag), photography galleries across the street, vintage furniture stores, and best of all - Pink's Hot Dogs. It is a great place to walk around. more
