Good and healthy 3/23/2006

That is what Bueno y Sano stands for in Spanish. The burritos here are so fresh tasting, no more of that refried unhealthy stuff. The beans are fresh and you can get your burrito with just about any wrap, filling, or sauce you want. The sitting area is a typical college restaurant style which means there are tables scattered and you order at the counter and sit to eat. I love Bueno! more

If you like burritos, this is definitely the place to go. From chicken and beans to shrimp, they have lots of burritos to choose from, and I'm sure you'll find something you like. The atmosphere is cute, but tiny, so I usually get my food to go. It's a popular place, and fills up quickly. For a place that does so much business, they're quick with their orders, and you don't usually have to wait around long even on busy nights. more

Even though I don't live in Amherst anymore, whenever I can, I make the trip just to get a Burrito. It's well worth the drive, as they've figured out how to perfect flavor the meet and assemble the burrito in the tender tortillas so that everything fits without exploding. I find their salsa to be a little bit watery, but others like it because you can poor it into the burrito and have it mix among the ingredients. more

Best Burritos in the State 8/13/2005

A favorite for locals, and known through out the state for its great burritos. This counter service establishment mainly sells burritos with a few sides, but they do an amazing job of it. Usually recognized as the best burrito joint in the state, the portions are huge, and reasonably priced. The kids size burrito, (50 cents less) doesn't look that much smaller. You do bus your own plates, but that is common in this town. Everytime I make the trip back I make sure to stop in and enjoy. more

I love a good burrito. This is a GREAT burrito. Nothing else even compares. They are huge and filled with fresh hot toppings before your very eyes. And they are massive! Bueno is a small place with a huge reputation. Their menu has the basic Mexican fare with burritos, quesadillas and tacos. Their salsa is made fresh and is hands down the best ever. Their jalepeno poppers are grilled and stuffed with a cream cheese stuffing and served on rice, which you will need to calm your inflamed taste buds! more
