Wonderful experience 9/21/2015

Budget Transmission Center repaired the transmission for my Hyundai Accent. They did an excellent job and their prices were reasonable. I thought their customer service was wonderful. Victor game me a ride home after I dropped off my car. Everyone was trustworthy, respectful, and knowledgeable. I didn't have to wait long to pick up my car once they were done with it. I would recommend their services. more

Helpful, good customer service. 6/9/2015

I went to Budget Transmission Center to fix an issue with my car. They were very busy, but friendly and the service was good. I had to return twice after the first visit because there were two small problems with the work they did. They did not charge me for either of the return visits, and their prices were pretty reasonable. more

Overcharged. 6/3/2015

I took my car to Budget Transmission Center, and they said I needed a brand new transmission, which was $3,000. They put the new transmission in, and three days later, the car was still doing the same thing. So, I brought it back, and they told me it was the air flow system. Once they did the air flow system, which was $150, the car was running fine. I'm not a transmission expert, but I ended up wondering if I really needed the new transmission. After they tore the car apart, there was really nothing I could do but go with their word. Maybe it was worth it, maybe it wasn't, but at the end of the day I wonder if they gave me something I didn't need. more

Good customer engagement. 5/28/2015

I am a returning customer of Budget Transmission center. Before I went, I did my research on google and yelp. Most of the reviews were positive, and some weren't. I decided to take a chance, and I am glad that I did. They take care of me every time I go there. Every time I have a problem they seem very helpful, and willing to work on any issue to overcome the situation. They are very professional and want to checkup on their customers. They send out a holiday card to keep in touch, and seek out my feedback- which shows that they have good customer engagement, which I like. The one thing I would point out is that they are very strong on the mechanical side, but they could use some help on their electrical work, especially with air conditioning units. But I will keep going back for their service, professional attitude, fair prices, and quality work. more

Really fantastic service. 4/9/2015

I have been going to Budget Transmission Center for two years now since I've moved back to Connecticut. My father had originally recommended them to me. They have replaced my transmission as well as several other things with my car. I was able to get in on a Saturday morning with no appointment. I like how the people there keep you in the loop constantly, and they have great team spirit and good morale at the shop. They offer really fantastic service, and I would highly recommend them to others. more

This was the first time I worked with Budget Transmission Center. They helped me after a piece of my transmission blew out. They offered me an excellent price, and replaced what was needed. They all really knew what they were doing. I would recommend them. more

Everything Has Been A-1 Okay! 3/2/2015

I have known the owner of Budget Transmission Center since he opened the business about six years ago and have been going to him since. With all the experiences I have had with them, each one has been satisfactory and great. Over the years, he's worked on my transmission, break linings, and fixed gaskets on my motor. He knows what he is doing and I have no qualms in taking my vehicle to him. The prices are very reasonable and I will definitely keep using them. more

They are honest. 2/23/2015

I take both my Volkswagen and a Jaguar to Budget Transmission Center. I've been using them for about two years now. If they don't get the repairs right the first time, they'll make sure to fix it the second time around. When you call Budget Transmission Center, they tell you the truth. Before doing any work, they let you know what's going on. I think their work is honest and is not over priced. more

extremely helpful & very friendly 1/3/2015

As another reviewer said before, it took a while for me to get my car back, but it was a very big transmission job and they also fixed a whole lot of other problems they found along the way. When the day came for me to pick up my car, my car stalled out on the way home because of a totally unrelated problem. I called the place back just in case they knew something that I didn't know, and they immediately sent a tow truck to come pick it up. Also worth noting, this was after work hours. They brought the car in and fix the problem overnight, did not charge for anything, and apologized multiple times about the inconvenience even though it wasnt their fault. these guys are very genuine, friendly people that really know their stuff.I plan to bring my car there for any other issues I have. Once again, they are a GREAT team. more

Nice, competent experienced experts at doing transmission repair 11/25/2014

Budget Transmission Center appeared very confident and competent. They did good work for a price that was reasonable. It was much less expensive than replacing the transmission. They repaired my car transmission, which was a fairly complicated job. My car is now running perfectly. My only complaint is it took longer than I hoped for. They had some trouble getting the parts. However, if you say it's going to take two weeks, then it should only take two weeks. All in all, I am happy with my experience. more

Very accommodating, honest, and affordable. 11/19/2014

I went with Budget Transmission because they gave me the best quote out of all of the companies that I called. I remember calling them on a Saturday and Sammy returned my call in a prompt manner, when several other companies never returned my call. When I brought my car in, they provided the opportunity to repair the component within my transmission instead of replacing the entire thing which another shop told me was what needed to be done. Last but not least, they're quite cordial which goes a long way. They did a wonderful job taking care of my transmission and I would strongly recommend them. more

They didn't fall through with what I asked. 11/10/2014

Not happy with Budget Transmission Center at all! I called them for a transmission flush and all they did was pull the drain, drain it and then refill it. They didn't listen to what I wanted and they got my orders wrong. And whenever I spoke to them over the phone, they said they did what I asked. I even asked them to do an oil change while they were at it and they didn't even do that! I used to work at a dealership so I know the machinery and how the business works. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! more

Great service and amazing work! 6/24/2014

This was my first time using Budget Transmission Center. Everybody there was very helpful. I had them do wheels, flashers and a tune up. I brought them other quotes so they worked with me on the price. Unlike many other garages that I have been to, they were very professional. They did not try and charge me unfair amounts and were trustworthy. My car is running great. I definitely plan on using them again. more
