OK STORAGE 4/7/2012

It is in a strange location, kind of hard to find, right behind the railroad tracks and under the freeway in industrial part of Richmond. Initial price is good but goes up significantly after a few months. more

If you need storage, Budget Self Storage is really the place to go. 3/19/2010

We started using Budget Self Storage about 4 years ago because they were closest to where we lived at the time. We have since moved but continue to use them because of their integrity and their friendly, cooperative, helpful staff. Budget Self Storage is really good at making sure that you get the right size storage unit for your needs. We have 5 units with them and have not had any problems at all. Ron & Karen Everette more

Focused on long-term relationships with customers. 6/5/2009

Of all the storage places out there, Budget Self Storage is the first one I have found that seems to absolutely refrain from shell games, lies and false advertisements. I have been using them for 3 or 4 years now and have been very satisfied. They are trustworthy. You get exactly what they tell you you are going to get. Budget is focused on building long-term relationships with their customers. You can talk to them and work with them, which is a huge advantage they have over the bigger storage companies. They have ironed out any bumps in the road that have come up since I have been using them. I have been recommending Budget to other family and friends, and will continue to do so. Good place to be. Very accessible. 6/4/2009

I decided to use Budget Self Storage because it was less expensive than the other storage company I was using. With the previous company, prices for same size storage space kept going up, so I left and switched over to Budget. I was initially referred to Budget by a friend. I went to check out the storage spaces, and I liked what I saw.Their storage units are different from others I have used. I like them better because they are easily accessible. I can drive right up to my storage space and load things in and out. I did have an issue when I first went to move my stuff in. I got in okay but the lock was still on the storage space, so I could not open the unit. I had to pay extra to the moving company that I used because they were waiting there with my stuff. Budget Self Storage said they would reimburse me for the fee I paid the moving company, but I have not yet been reimbursed. They have different management now, so I have had to talk to a few different people. Since I moved my stuff into the storage space, I have not had any problems. I have nothing but praise for the receptionist who helps me when I call. Everything has been perfect. I would recommend Budget to someone looking for a good, accessible storage space. Huge units 11/18/2005

We rented a unit at Budget Self Storage to keep some old stuff like christmas decorations and furniture which my wife loves changing each year. They offer senior special discounts so I had my parents sign the papers for me to get a pretty good discount. They have video security, fenced, and looks pretty well lighted too. more
