I had a rental agreement with Buddy's in Slidell, on my contract I had a bedroom set, a laptop, a Playstation 3. When I got my laptop home it's charger wasn't the compatible one for this laptop, I called the store but nobody could make an exchange or order a new one because Grady (Manager) wasn't there. I called several times and Grady was never there. Meanwhile, the PS3 wasn't working properly bc the hard drive was locking up. This time, I went up to the store and asked about my laptop charger and the PS3 and was told Grady still wasn't there. I have an issue with this bc I'm being charged for stuff that I cannot use. Upon sayinG this to the employee of the store, they could've cared less. Grady finally gets back to the store after what seemed like 2 weeks and I told him about the issues I was having and He had the nerve to ask me for payment for the stuff that did not work and hasn't since I got them. He said he wasn't gonna fix my issues until I paid for the next 2 weeks. I told him I'd pay for the bedroom that I could use and he said no, pay for it all! What kind of so called, Manager, does this??? Grady is a horrible excuse for a person who is hired to direct his store in working with the public. His customer service skills are piss poor at best. He doesn't care about the customers who frequent his store and it shows. There are a few good employees there, namely Vic, who does show that he is customer focused and was good dealing with. Maybe the owner will offer him the Manager position because Vic seems to know why the doors are open, unlike. Grady.
To add insult to injury, my payment was due on a Monday and I the store I didn't get paid until Friday( 4 days after Monday and I was told that's fine, bring it in when you get paid). Grady then decided to have my stuff picked up and refused to work with me. Vic called him and tried to talk to him and he again refused to work with me. I had to sleep on the floor bc of Grady until I got something else, somewhere else. STAY AWAY!!!!
