Coming from a local......this place sucks! If you want good maryland crabs, do not come to Buddys! Small crabs! Over priced also....if you are a true local of Annapolis you know that buddys is the worst place for crabs....dont be fooled. more

I loved it.: Get the Maryland Crap Soup. It's amazing. I can't wait to go back to Annapolis just for this restaurant. The view of the harbor was great from where we sat. It's really a lovely place. more

What fun!: What a great place for a casual dining experience!!! Especially when you have the kids with you. The staff here is excellant...very upbeat and very friendly. They hop right in a show everyone how to pick crabs! The place is busy and like any crab house laid back and noisy. There is a wide variety of food to choose from and everthing we had was excellant. It was great to have a table by the window, so we could watch the activity of the habor boats! Portions are large and the prices are reasonable. We will go back the next time we are in town!!! more

Great Crabs: The crabs were great, best every and also a good place for kids. They gave balloons and bags to all the kids to keep them quiet. Our party of 12 had a great time. more

Great Food and Service: Food and service were great. Ribs and crabs as in the name were excellent. The best cream of crab I have ever had. Service was the best I have had in awhile. Always anticipated our needs. Great for both locals and tourists. more

Driving back from VA, my boyfriend and I decided to stop in Annapolis. Once we were there we decided to check out this place for lunch. We had the crab legs for appetizers. They were so frwsh, so good. I had the Caesar salad with crab meat and my boyfriend had the ribs with soup and sweet potato. The soup was so creamy. It had huge chunks of crab in it. It was the Cream of Crab. The ribs were falling off the bone. My salad was spectacular, just the right amount of dressing and it was tasty. Highly recommend this place and Annapolis is great. more

I've been here several times as it is the main "all-you-can-eat/easily identifiable location" in Anapolis. We did the all-you-can-eat crabs for approx. $30/person (comes with soup, salad, corn & fries). I'm pretty picky with my crabs & was surprised at how fresh and meaty the crabs were. Our waiter was equally as nice, so I would def say this place is worth going to. more

This is the absolute best restaurant to take children in Annapolis. Recently my husband, my daughter and I took a trip to Annapolis and we were looking for a tasty place to eat crab cakes where you won't get dirty looks for bringing a child with you. We have seen Buddy's before on many occasions, but never went inside. We were so glas that we decided to give it a try. Our little one was entertained, they gave her a balloon right when we arrived. My husband and I were able to enjoy a nice, cold drink, we had a beautiful view of the water and our little one was happy. The food was really good. I ordered the crab cake sandwich -- which was reasonably priced and my husband ordered the rib sandwich - the ribs were so good that the meat melted off the bone. This is a great place to eat if you're in Annapolis. I like to dine at Buddy's with the family or with my wife. They have delicious crab cakes and crab imperial. Additionally, their crab soup has been fantastic the few times that I have had it. This restaurant has an excellent location in Annapolis as well. I'm very surprised at some of the negative reviews, this place has always been good to my family and I and it's our Seafood restaurant of choice in Annapolis.We have found the wait staff to be attentive and outgoing. Additionally, they have nice views of the Chesapeak Bay if you are lucky enough to get a window table. A little pricey but I will accept that with the location and quality of food. If you're in Annapolis, I strongly recommend trying out Buddys! more

We ate at Buddys Crabs And Ribs and had super jumbo crabs , they were the largest that I have ever seen. We all had a great time. Kid eat free. The view was great. We will go there again more

The perfect place to fall into after a days outing in Annapolis. Solid food, great beer selection, and a very laid back ambiance. You truly get the feel for what kind city Annapolis is. more

Although I ordered ribs, I tried the other foods ordered by my friends. The club sandwich was delicious and so was the hamburger. The foods items were priced within reason and just great to eat. more
