so i order flowers for valentine's day for my mother because i didn't want to go through an ordinary flower shops and tried a mom and pop shop. Starting at 2pm on valentine's day i was worried that my flowers were not going to be delivered. I tried calling the place but nobody was answering their direct line. Then i noticed on the website an 800 number and called that number as well but no answer. After trying a couple of times no one answers the phone, i emailed the florist with my confirmation number but received a bounce back.
So basically, I had to physically go to the store and still no flowers at my mother's office. Finally i got there, I asked for a refund and told them my flowers were not delivered whatsoever. I've explained to her i tried calling and email but received no response. I guess she didn't like my concern and was frustrated, and went on and told me the manager was in the hospital. I understand that i really do, but florists have two days out of the year to make sure they get things done right (mother's day and valentine's day). If you can't handle the business then don't accept it and turn people away. She proceeded to express to me that it was my fault the flowers were not there on time. I had about enough of her complains told her, my mother only has me and i have to make sure she gets flowers. I guess after that point she finally felt some kind of sympathy.
The florist shop did not offer to send free bouquet of flowers or anything else. lack of customer service is overwhelming. i am completely surprised this store is still in business.
Needless to say I went to wholefoods and created my own bouquet for my mother and gave it to her. Don't spend your money here! Take it somewhere else where people are going to care and not blame you for anything.
