After eating dinner here a few times I decided I'd try booking a surprise birthday party for my dad - who's really nosy - and check their prices and rooms. They actually had a really flexible menu for my group (40 people!) and were very helpful when I called them with questions. I got to see the room beforehand and sit down with their sales manager to plan the menu. My dad thought it was just mom and me and when they took us back he was SO surprised I think he almost cried. He loves their food and we still ended up taking leftovers home. Pros: Really nice staff, great food! Cons: They can get crazy busy sometimes more

Amazing! 7/20/2009

My family and I tried this restaurant this weekend and I have to say that the word "amazing" does not begin to do it justice. The Chicken Saltimboca, with artichoke hearts and prosciutto, was heaven and the Tiramisu was generous and potent. Our children each ordered from the very reasonably priced kids menu ($5.99!!!!) and had the luxury of making their own pizza at the table which was then baked in their oven and brought out piping hot for each child to enjoy. We were truly treated like family and cannot wait to go back for my husband's August birthday. Be sure to make a reservation if you plan on going on a Saturday night, this restaurant's delicious food and friendly service is obviously well known across Berks County. Pros: Just like mama made it. Cons: A reservation is typically needed on weekends. more
