Their banquet deals are great, the people who work there are full of personality and very funny! Great family place, and great for big parties. I would reccomend making a reservat...

Noticed that the last review was written in 2003 and guess what? They are still awful! We went on a Tuesday night and there weren't very many customers, but our food took FOREVE...

Great Atmosphere, Great People and Great Take-Out!!!! 11/22/2008

Their banquet deals are great, the people who work there are full of personality and very funny! Great family place, and great for big parties. I would reccomend making a reservation on a weekend night though. more

Avoid at all costs! This place is horrible. 9/6/2007

Five of us tried the place for the first and last time on Tuesday night. UGH! Chef Boyardee is better Italian and that says it all! The sauce at Buca was thin and tasteless. Not Italian by any stretch of the imagination. The only good items in our meal were the garlic bread which was quite tasty and the apple/gorgonzola salad was OK. DON'T GO HERE! Pros: Garlic bread was tasty. Service fine. Cons: Food is AWFUL! more

It was terrible 7/11/2006

Noticed that the last review was written in 2003 and guess what? They are still awful! We went on a Tuesday night and there weren't very many customers, but our food took FOREVER to get to our table and our server didn't care and kept forgetting to bring us things like our drinks, then our refills, etc. if he even stopped by our table at all. Pros: Can't really think of any Cons: Service and price more

Good food for a chain! 3/2/2006

I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried Buca. They serve good food for a chain restaurant. I don't know how truly authentic it is, but it's tasty and not over priced. It's a good place when you're hungry and you're not worried about calories. more

AWESOME 1/15/2006

This is really good Southern Italian Food. I love everything about the place, when I\r make reservations, we like to sit in the Kitchen. It is fun watching the Wait Staff hustle\r about and The Chef's cooking up a Storm... The Egg Plant Parm and Chicken Marsala\r is to DIE FOR.. The food is always consistent. The wait staff is always friendly and happy to see me. (I eat there about 2 times a month!!). It is for everyone (including\r kids). Go hang out in the bathroom and learn Italian!!! Large Portions, Good Value, Nice Staff & Great Atmosphere sums up my experiences. (Oh the Bread is Great too) Pros: Great Food, Great Staff, Reasonable Prices more

They didn't CARE! 11/27/2003

Gotta tell you...bad service, bad food and a very bad attitutde! Not a good place for kids either. We had a serve that looked like she just got back from a grunge party -- so NOT helpful! When we asked for some simple noodles with a little olive oil and garlic...she said they couldn't make it because they didn't have either olive oil or garlic! Her attitude was so negative and unhelpful. We spoke to a female manager...she could have cared less! Didn't event apologize -- nor offer a solution. A $100 meal gone terrible wrong! Pros: Location Cons: Poor Service, Mediocre Food, Long wait more
