Bube's Brewery

I could not even give it a star!! I was with a group of 11 people and we thought the Medieval Feast would be fun. The feast was to be in the Catacombs and you would be seated with others. Well the Feast started with all the diners coming together in the lobby with the show beginning with James the begger. There was a group of 5 men an 1 girl that were loud and rude and very intoxicated. They had been there before and were yelling out what was going to happen before it did. They were also using profanity in a mixed group of people. After our group was seated , we were the lucky one to have the group of loud intoxicated rude people to sit with us( and that is not the bad part). The female in the group was so drunk she started to pass out and then she threw up in the water pitcher from the table and put it back on the table. We complained, with no action taken. The girl is now passed out at the table with her head in her so called boyfriends lap. The men are now dripping hot wax on her back and verbalizing what they should do to her. This is just the beginning, the serving wench is taking money for massages at he table and the men are taking off their shirts to get messages, while we eat. The the drunk girls boy friend starts to throw up. We got up and left. Tried to Talk to the owner SAM ALLEN he said it happens every once in a while and he couldn't ask them to leave because they were with their Probation Officer Friends(the ones getting massages and talking of doing stuff to the passed out girl). When we left the girl was lying on the sidewalk by herself. NEVER EVER GO THERE !!!!! more

My wife and have been looking at Bube's for 2 years now as far as dining in the catacombs. I was a little hesitant, because I know she wasn't crazy about eating 4 stories underground. I've go to tell everyone out there, not only was it worth the 98 mile drive from Philadelphia, but the atnosphere is unmatched and the food was probably the best that we have ever had in any restaurant. The chef was a fill-in according to the waitress, but whatever the case, it was amazing. We're headed back the end of this month for dinner and an overnight stay. For anyone considering Bube's, do it!!!! You won't be disappointed. more

We went to the murder mystery dinner. I called before to ask for a children's meal for my son and a vegeratrian for myself. They served me steamed green, red pepers, onions, and broccoli, and would not accommodate my son who filled up on bread. My husband called saying it was my birthday and was told they do nothing for birthdays, then during dessert they went into another room and sang happy birthday. The drinks are over priced. A glass of wine, one pint of ale, and a soda was $17.75. The wine was sour and when I asked for another glass I was told no, no one else complained. The show was cute, but it is held in different rooms so we did not see the murder. We will never go back again! more

Bube's always seems to have something going on. Beyond the amazing atmosphere of the Catacombs, Bube's also hosts performances from a variety of bands in the bar portion of the restaurant, open mic nights, and karaoke every Sunday night. I loved the Catacombs part of this place! You have to climb down lots of steps to get down there, but it is soooo worth it. It is a very romantic place to have dinner with your sweetie. And I thought the food was great. The servers wear cute uniforms too! Pros: ambience, nice servers, good food Cons: can't think of any more

The food was Ok, nothing spectacular...but you go here for the wonderful atmosphere...eat in the caves! fun evening was had by all. Wear a sweater though...it's a bit chilly down there. more
