This is an terrific all girls school. You need to have excellent grades to get in because the course load is challenging. The buildings are old looking but they are in wonderful condition and that is part of the charm of the school. They offer a good selection of courses and the classes are small so you can get the most out of you education. However this is a 30,000 per year plus school so it is not cheap. There is a good transportation system so it is a if you do not have a car on campus. more

I want to live in a castle 9/11/2005

If you've always wanted to live in a place where stone, medieval-like structures make up the majority of the buildings and huge trees shade most of the lawns, then Bryn Mawr might be the place for you. Another plus is the professors are knowledgeable and very accessible. The gym is pretty small, though rumor has it there is a larger (and free) one at the sister school of Haverford. more
