Well my husband and i have been here for drinks several times and despite hearing the food was average we thought we would give it a try with some friends. I must admit the food was better than I expected after what I had heard, though rather over priced considering the type of food served (fairly basic) and the restaurants decor. So we had a round of beers, an entree each and then ordered another round. Just 5 minutes after receiving our second drinks the waiter dropped off the bill (we hadn't asked for it), tapped the table and said he needed it. There was nobody waiting that we could see and we couldn't quite believe how rude he had just been. My husband commented on this and the waiter apologized. We finished up our drinks quickly, a little stunned and paid the bill which had automatically had a 20% tip added for 4 people. There were 3 empty tables when we left. The mussels here are the best I've had since eating them in the actual city of Brussels. The service, however, was a mess. The restaurant lost our party's reservation for the outdoor patio and put us at a long table in the dining room. The manager promised to ""take care of"" us, but nary a free appetizer or discount came our way. The waiter was extremely snooty, but also slow. At night, the restaurant becomes a dance club with bad music and the requisite old creepy men on the prowl. I will go back for the mussels, but not with a big group, and not late at night, because saint's preserve us from that awful music. Pros: Mussels Cons: Service, music, creepy old men more
