This house does not encourage league bowling. The counter staff are rude and inattentive to stops and calls. They have one waitress working on Friday nights who seems to spend more time chatting at the counter than serving so if you want something from the snack bar you usually have to leave your lanes and get it yourself.\r

Management is ineffective, virtually absent. Open bowlers are placed right next to league bowlers and are never instructed about lane courtesy. When we complained about the cosmic bowling announcements being made at length during league bowling we were told that this was ""The Law"". Then the counterman proceeded to make announcements about bowling specials. I suppose this is the ""law"" also. When we asked if the oppressive heat could be dialed back during one particularly warm league night we were told that the control of the HVAC was at corporate HQ. Perhaps this is a good place for children's parties and cosmic bowlers, but it shows clearly why league bowling has diminished in the US. When houses such as this indicate by their lack of service that league bowlers are no longer valued, then those bowlers will drop out and find other, more hospitable places to spend their recreational budget. Give me a good old fashioned ""bowling alley"" any day over this so called ""Family Fun Center"". When the season is over I will ""vote with my dollars"" and bowl elsewhere. Serious bowlers are not made welcome here, and we can take a hint.
