Brunchies

I have been eating at Brunchie's with my children since its inception. I have found the wait staff friendly and helpful. They have children's menus, crayons, and serve the kids on child friendly plates. There are pictures the children have drawn hanging on the walls, and they had a contest about a year back asking the kids to come up with a name for the ""horse"" that hangs over the register. (SeaBiscuts and Gravy). Now onto the food! The portions are quite large for the money, and the French Toast with marmalade is to die for. Also try the Cotton Picker, and the Southerner breakfasts unless you?re in the mood for a scrumptious skillet. We often split a breakfast so we don?t leave stuffed. Patio seating is best in Spring and Fall, but the doors do close for the hotter and cooler weather if you still want a pleasing atmosphere. more

We went to Brunchies for lunch. While they were quick to seat us, they took over 5 minutes to bring over a high chair for my 1 year olfd daughter. Naturallly this did not sit well with her. We then had to wait another five minutes for the wait staff to come over and take a drink order. Then another five minutes for the drinks to arrive. By the time they finished taking our food order my one year old was getting very restless. People who arrived after us were recieving their food before we were. ""Regulars"" were complaining to the staff about my daughters being horrible, even though my three year old was behaiving great. Yes my one year old was getting antsy, but so was I. We ended up waiting over 20 minuts for the food to arrive. My daughter's hot dog and fries were cold, and the rest of teh food was sub par. The wait staff was not attentive or friendly towards us at all. It was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I did not find them to be child friendly at all. It seemed that if you were not a regular you were not welcome. more

My husband and I have been going to Brunchies since moving to the Valley in February of 2005 and we have never been disappointed. We love their Mexican breakfasts, and if you go on a weekend when they have chiliquiles for the special, don't miss a chance to order it. Very tasty with plenty of chicken and corn tortilla chips with cheese and refried beans. And I haven't even mentioned the wonderful, giant biscuits! \r \r I keep thinking I'll try something on their lunch menu one of these days, but I never get past their great breakfasts! Brunchies is one of my favorite places for breakfast. The cinnamon French toast is great and my wife loves the chorizo. more

I have been to Brunchie's several times in the past and have always had a pleasent experience. Located on Boston St, just east of Arizona Ave, this ""Ma Pa"" establishment features a wide variety of menu items, spacious seating including a nice covered outdoor courtyard, and a friendly staff. I have never had to wait for a drink refill and the food has always been served fresh and hot, just like it is suppose to be. The manager, Quinnton, has always been socially outgoing and very hospitable. He relates well with all his customers. While you're there, don't forget to take home some oven fresh, homemade desserts, comprized of Cookies, including Huge Chocolate Chip, Fruit or Cream Pies, Breads and Brownies. Other noteworthly remarks: Handicap Accessible, Credit Cards Accepted, Take-Out Orders, Kid Friendly, Large parties welcomed, Open 7 days a week & a casual atmosphere.
