tHE ONLY REASON HE GETS ONE STAR IS BECAUSE AT LEAST ONE IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO POST THIS REVIEW: I don't even know where to begin. This guy NEVER returns calls or emails. He screwed up my company's tax returns two years in a row by filing partnership returns when he should have filed LLC returns. The fall-out from it continues to haunt me. I've had to spend (so far, and it's still not over) no less than 40 hours on the phone with the state trying to rectify his errors; re-sending tax returns and miscellaneous documents. On top of it, I now owe thousands of dollars in interest and penalties for the outstanding balances I didn't know existed until the error was finally discovered (through hours on the phone). FYI - the actual tax payments he told us to make, and what we actually owed differed by $10,000 (not in our favor)! Just getting to speak with a human takes no less than 20 minutes each time I call in to check the status of my situation with the state. On the personal tax side... he had to re-do them after reporting to my husband and I that we owed about 10k, which made no sense at all. Turns out (oops) we actually were getting 10k back. Just a tiny little oversight. Thank God we caught it!! Who knows - maybe that's wrong too. DO NOT USE THIS GUY UNLESS YOU ENJOY RECEIVING TAX NOTICES WITH PENALTIES AND INTEREST FOR THE NEXT YEAR!! more

Bruce has been handling my tax preparation and related issues for over 10 years. Not only does he do a GREAT job preparing my taxes and making sure to capture all appropriate deductions -- even when I was self employed, and he can also help you out if you have IRS problems. I had a multi-million dollar tax problem related to my former marriage--nothing to do with taxes prepared by Bruce. Bruce, being a registered IRS Agent, assisted me in working with the IRS whereby I was relieved of any responsibility for the very large tax bill. I have used Bruce Miller a number of times over the years and found him fast, effiicent and well worth the minimal charge that he asks for his expertise. I am sorry to hear somone else had a bad experience but for people who work in the Entertainment Business, he is a great assett at tax time. Woman answering the phone was poilte and took our message which we communicated as urgent. We never rec'd a return phone call. On 2 separate occasions we asked for help and was ignored. He takes your money at tax time and neglects you the rest of the year. more
