I've never been to a dermatologist before... 8/3/2011

I've never been to a dermatologist before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I did, however, know that my previous physician had midiagnosed me. He had given my skin a rushed and very perfunctory glance and announced "you have acne, use this cream". I suppose this would be fine if i had zits of any kind. Instead I had a red rash on my cheeks, so I knew this guy was crazy. I pored over internet reviews and checked with myprovider multiple times to find this dermatology office, and then had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment...but so glad I did!! Dr Heller was sweet and understanding, spent plenty of time poring over my skin, and did an amazing job of diagnosing my ROSACEA and getting me the meds I needed. His bedside manner was impeccable and I will absolutely come back! more

Pleasant 7/29/2011

Dr. Heller is professional, calm and makes the entire process less stressful. He has a great sense of humor, and discusses all the information with you, rather than just giving you a list. It was such a new experience to have a physician that talks 'to' you, not 'at' you. His assistant was extremely kind and pleasant which just sets up the entire experience to be much more pleasant. more
