The Brown County Library is a great place to go to check out the newest books! Why buy when you can check them out for free? The library is very large and they have 2 floors. They also have computers with Internet access available for use by the public. That is nice for when you are having problems with your own computer. more

The Original Barnes & Noble 8/25/2005

People love to sit and read (for free). And Barnes & Noble is full on people on weekends doing just that. Let's not overlook the Downtown Library as a place to sit and read, listen to music, or surf the net. Plus, you get to take things home for free (provided you return them on time). Its one-stop shopping for family movie night, the kids' reading list, or your favorite pilates video. more

A Little Far, But Worth it 8/7/2005

The Brown County Library may be a little far compared to other towns' libraries, but if you are doing research it is a great place to check out. They have a huge library which includes many computers for public use. They also have a great selection of books, both reference and for pleasure or personal use. The staff there is very helpful in whatever you are doing, looking for something or using any of their materials. The library itself is very peaceful and clean, making it a great atmosphere to be in. more

Big and Beautiful 8/7/2005

The Brown County Library looks very nice from the outside, but once you step inside you are amazed. It is so much larger and more beautiful than you would think from the outside. The library has two floors with an open staircase. There is a huge children's section full of books. Adults area also full of books. Computers for the public to use. And a great selection of cds and videos, both instructional/educational and videos for fun. The staff there is is very friendly and helpful with anything you have questions on. more
