Broward Taxi

Bad experience February 16, 2012. Used this taxi service from Fort Lauderdale Airport to our hotel in Fort Lauderdale. I inadvertantly left my eye glasses in the cab. Called cab company immediately and several times over the three day period we where there. They were no help at all. Will NOT use this service again in Ft Lauderdale. more

We had the Taxi pick us up at the dock. Leaving the Emerald Pricess from our cruise.. We had the taxi take us to the spirit airlines at the Fort Lauderdale airport. When we paid the driver, he left, taking my husbands carry on, with all of his medication, camera, and personal items, in it with him. We called the company and they refused to help us. We called them five times, leaving our phone number and location to have the driver bring it back. He never did. Neither did they even call us back!!! Beware!!!! Theives!!!! more

I tried calling them 4 times, waiting 10-20 minutes each time to get here. Finally on the forth time they found my house(which was right next to Broward Blv). After quoting me 12 bucks to get to where I was going they bring me to a completely wrong Animal Care Facility somewhere off of Griffin, telling me they knew exactly where I was going(I printed out directions for them). After driving around in circles and using the drivers iPhone GPS, he hands it to me and asks me to punch in an address(mind you the meter is still running). Finally after me reading signs on the side of the road we get there, and he demands 30 dollars. I gave the man what I was quoted. WORST SERVICE EVER more

THIS WAS BAD, WHEN I GOT TO THE AIRPORT I TOLD THE DRIVER THAT I COULD ONLY PAY BY CREDIT CARD BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH CASH. HE SAID IT WOULD TAKE TO LONG TO PROCESS THE CREDIT CARD AND I WOULD MISS MY FLIGHT. I TOLD HIM THAT I HAD NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE BECAUSE I WAS A FEW DOLLARS SHORT. THEN HE SAID LET ME SEE HOW MUCH MONEY I HAD. WHEN I HANDED IT OVER TO HIM, HE SAID OK LET ME PUT THE REMAINDER ON THE CREDIT CARD. THATS WHEN I GOT UPSET AND SAID GIVE ME MY CASH BACK AND RUN THE ENTIRE PAYMENT THROUGH MY CREDIT CARD. (WE PROCEEDED TO HAVE A TUG OF WAR WITH MY CASH IN HAND!!!) I SAID LET GO BECAUSE I HAVE TO TIP THE LUGGAGE PEOPLE AT THE AIRLINE CHECK IN. WHEN I ARRIVED MY TAXI BILL WAS ONLY $26.10, I SAID RUN THE ENTIRE BILL FOR THE CREDIT CARD WHILE I PUT MY LUGGAGE THROUGH. UPON MY RETURN HE HAD THE BILL AS 30.00. (????) HOW DID HE MAKE IT 30.00 BASED ON WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE AIRPORT WITH THE TAXI SCREEN ONLY SHOWING $26.10?? WHEN I LOOKED AGAIN NOW THE SCREEN SHOWED $28.10, THEREFORE I SCRATCHED OUT HIS AMOUNT AND PUT $28.10. (I WAS GOING TO ARGUE ABOUT HOW THE FARE WENT UP BY $2.00.
