I have waited 3 months now for a death certificate. I called again and was told the owner is no longer there. Sean Gillen told me he owned the place but now I called and was told he is not there anymore. I still don't have a death certificate. Never again! Never again! Never again! Thanks but no thanks Mr.Sean Gillen I do not think you are honest. more

Sean Gillen charged me $200 for a newspaper notice that cost nothing. I got charged $200 for a Thomas Kincaid Guest Book and this was done without asking me. He just put these things on the bill. The death certificate was wrong and he had my moms race wrong on the death certificate. I would not go back to this guys funeral home. I was not happy with the service and he did not make it right with me. He tells you anything but he does not take care of the details. I had to finally go get my own death certificate copies because I got tired of waiting and hearing excuse after excuse. I didn't get what I paid for because I got a whole lot less. I would not go back to this guy again. One time is enough for me to know he just says anything but does not follow up. He still has not followed up. Don't go here. more

This funeral home is very helpful, compassionate, and caring. They provided impeccable service for my father - a lifelong resident of Miamisburg. My family always discussed Brough Funeral Home as they they provided the services for my grandmother years ago. This experience was very pleasant and Sean Gillen provided excellent, competent, and fair-priced service. I had met Mr. Gillen previously in Mt. Healthy at Walker and was happy to see a familiar face at Brough Getts Funeral Home. The prices were fair, the service was excellent, the facility was nice and modern. My only concern was the large size of the chapel as I felt it may seem as if few attended. The chapel worked out beautifully and the size was perfect . This funeral home provided value, service, and quality. It is always nice to do business with local owners and local staff. This funeral home is not owned by a large corporation in a big city and all the decisions were made right in the arragement office by Mr. Gillen. I am very satisfied with the service, facility, and price. more

Sean Gillen performed beautifully for our family. The price was very fair. We had gone to the other funeral home and quote a price of over $10,000. On our way to the cemetery we notice Brough Getts and stopped by to check our prices. To our surprise Sean Gillen provided us with the same casket and a beautiful visitation with funeral the next day and get this - half price. Yes you read it correctly - 1/2 price. My family was pleased and everything was beautiful. Thanks to Sean Gillen we were able to provide my mother with a beautiful funeral and we didn't have to spend a fortune.
