Great Place 4/29/2011

This is my favorite location of this small chain. It's a little off the beaten path, so it's not quite as packed and loud as the other locations can be. Great food (sides are always great) and the service is friendly. more

Union Square Wins Me Over 3/1/2011

Brother Jimmy's really outdid themselves with this new location in Union Square! I was a little skeptical about checking out this new location since I am a loyal Murray Hill patron...but I am glad I did. I love the new decor and layout. And the new menu items are a great additional to a menu that I already loved...the fried Oyster Po Boy TO DIE FOR! Overall, I was very happy that I expanded my horizons to this new location and look forward to checking out some March Madness games on one of the 145989045890845 TVs they have. more

Bros, BBall and Bonding 3/1/2011

Love coming here to watch college bball with my brothers. I live jersey but my brothers live in nyc now and it?s a great meeting place for us to eat, drink and catch up. The atmosphere and staff is always nice. The hot wings are by far my absolute FAV, but I?m starting to fall in love with some of the entrees on their new menu too! more

Great new menu!!! 3/29/2010

I have been going to BJ's for about 10 years now and I love each and every location...The food is good(I have had better, but then again, my family is from S. Carolina), the staff are always friendly and the managers make it a point to try and please everyone(will never happen, but at least they try)...My only complaint is that they don't have Guiness on tap!!! Pros: Menu is great, staff is great, great location Cons: You think it's crowded now, wait till summer!!! more

  • Brother Jimmy's BBQ opened its 6th full service restaurant in March 2010. This location highlights its dining with a 200+ seated capacity & new menu items, exclusive to this location, like Beef Short Ribs, Spicy Grilled Loin Pork Chop, BBQ'd Salmon, & Pan Fried Red Fish & more. The 7500 sq. foot bi-level space includes areas like: "The Porch" a raised platform overlooking the bar; "The Nook" containing banquettes for up to 16; "The Hog Room" holding over 50 pp and an outdoor seated caf? for up to 22 pp. An underground cellar features Brother Jimmy's largest private event space, holding up to 75 pp. The design mimics the rustic & antique atmosphere of a southern roadhouse, characteristics of all Brother Jimmy's venues. The layout successfully blends the bar with the dining areas; combining the 2 environments for a heightened experience.
