Despite the sandwhich board advertising it's existence out on the sidewalk in front, this place can easily be overlooked. It's an AWESOME place. The food is very creative, fresh and elagantly presented. EVERY MEAL I have had there has been wonderful. If this restaurant was better known it would be worth the trip from Sacramento to eat here! I've moved here in the past 4 months and I've eaten there about 8 times. When the weather is nice/fair the patio ""brook side"" dining will be FANTASTIC. The prices are comparable to Awful Annie's - but the portions seems larger and the food is better! Don't get me wrong .. iI LIKE Awful Annie's.. Brookside is just a hidden gem. Everyone I've taken there has absolutely loved it... without exception.
Pros: Incredible food - quality & freshness, large portions -
Cons: Easily missed - at back of long hallway in Old Town
