I never thought a therapist could cost more than an attorney, but I was wrong. When his final bill came in, it was 2 weeks before Christmas and he demanded payment immediately. He says that services are prepaid but then she goes over the retainer without telling you. Luckly I found out that he had charged me for sessions that never occurred and I had proof thank God! I just sent in a 3 page complaint letter to the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and am hoping that he won't be practicing after they see the evidence I've provided. After researching my records, I realized that Mr. Gibson charged me for three conferences that we never had, billed me for a conference that I already paid for, charged me for reviewing documents that he didn?t receive until weeks later, ran up his bill on the day he found out my case was settled, and never provided the treatment he promised to give. Brooks Gibson has been grossly negligent in repetitively billing me for dates of conferences which were either canceled by him, he failed to show for, that were already paid for, or that were simply never scheduled.
Cons: Your jaw will drop when you get your bill.
