Brooklyn Dance Project - leaps ahead of the other schools 10/1/2011

This is my daughter's second year there after attending another dance school in Windsor Terrace. BDP is leaps and bounds ahead in teaching advances techniques, and my daughter loves her instructors. For the first time, she s considering taking a class during the summer - amazing! more

Great classes! 5/17/2011

Best studio in brooklyn! My 15y old daughter has been doing ballet hip hop and jazz there for the past 2 years and her improvements have been incredible! The shows there are great, and I really appreciate that they keep their prices down, not only for the classes but also for the recital's tickets and costumes! We were in two other studios near by when my daughter was younger and costumes were so expensive as well as tickets, it was ridiculous, it is nice to see an owner who cares and is always lovely and fair. All of the teachers are wonderful and you can even take classes with the owner if you are lucky enough to sign up early! That said you can't go wrong with any of the teachers!\r I highly recommend this studio! more

Best dance studio! 5/17/2011

I absolutely love this studio!! I have three children of all ages 4,10 and 14 and they all take classes there. First of all every single teacher is amazing, great knowledge, fantastic technic, they are all lovely and you definitely can tell that they are teaching the correct way! My kids love going there and this is the 3rd studio we have tried in the neighborhood, and it is the best one by far, we've been there for three years now and will not be going anywhere else for sure! more

Best dance studio in Brooklyn 7/30/2009

Finally a neighborhood school with the quality classes of a big city school. My 14 year old has been dancing for years and has been looking for a new school that would help her get to a higher level without having to go all the way in Manhattan, she started taking classes there and she has been thrilled by the the knowledge the teachers have and her technique and performance level have already improved after just a few months. more

Great Enviroment 12/16/2008

My 8 year old daughter has been going to this school for a year now and loves it. She is taking ballet and it is a great enviroment for her to learn. The classes are made up of children of all shapes and sizes and the teacher are very nurturing. There are at least 2 boys that I know of that attend the ballet classes. They have several other types of classes to choose from as well as adult classes. Prices are reasonable and discounts for multiple children/ adults attending. more
