Our Favorite 7/10/2010

This cafe is one of our favorite places in the city. We live between Buckhead and Midtown but frequently make the drive to enjoy The Brooklyn Cafe. We also enjoy Lobster Bar and Rathbun Steaks but you can't beat the food, prices and casual atmosphere that the cafe offers. My husband and I love the food so much that we asked them to cater our wedding reception which was the best decision ever. Our guests raved about the food for weeks following the reception. The owners were extremely easy to work with and made the reception exactly what we wanted. Pros: Attentive Service and Patio more

Best in Atlanta! 7/10/2010

What a wonderful place! I have become a regular at this neighborhood cafe even though I do not live in the area. The food is always absolutely delicious and the service is outstanding. We always start our evening with a cocktail and the smoked salmon which is consistently delectable. I always have an extremely hard time deciding what to order for my entree. A few of my favorites are the blackened pork tenderloin, crabcakes and shrimp tacos; however, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The environment is just as perfect as the food. The management clearly knows what people expect when they walk through the door and exceed their expectations. Whether you are looking for an intimate dinner, a group dinner or a cozy place to grab a glass of wine or a cocktail with a friend, Brooklyn Cafe is the best place to go in Atlanta! Pros: Neighborhood Feel and Excellent Food more

finally a fun relaxing neighborhood restaurant near me 7/8/2010

Brooklyn cafe is hidden jem on sandy springs circle and johnson ferry.\r I ate solo at the bar and the staff didnt bat an eye, as some places do. All, including staff and guest were so friendly. Rob, the bartender recommended the crab cakes and a glass of vino which was scrumptous. It was a nice treat to eat out, relax, be casual and not spend my paycheck for my dinner. I would recommend Brooklyn Cafe to all. Pros: great service, casual, food quality awesome Cons: closed on sundays - when I really want to relax more

Great Food! Best Crab Cakes Ever!! 6/3/2009

My family loves the food here! I like the high protein meal with low carbs, like the boneless, skinless chicken, avocado, green beans with lettuce and tomato. It comes as a sandwhich, but I get it without the bun. Another great lunch choice is the fish sandwhich! \r Lunch or dinner, you cannot go wrong no matter how you want to eat. Jeff serves great wine too. Pros: Great service by people that care! more

best lunch spot in Sandy Springs 4/3/2009

The only thing better than the service is the food. The soups, salads and sandwiches are out of this world. Each dish is prepared carefully and has a special sauce or spice. The tomatoes are worth the trip alone. Pros: Example: best croissants in town Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

One of Sandy Springs top rated restaurants 3/16/2009

Give lunch a try. I had the crab cake salad that compelled me to come back for more. Their turkey sandwich is a generous size enough to split and add the lobster bisque for starters. Today I came in and ordered the chicken sandwich. The tender chicken grilled to perfection covered with cheese and avocado and all the fixings. The cold asparagus as a side is surprisingly delicious with a nice tangy marinade. \r \r I have to try the Sunday brunch and dinner still, but for lunch this is a great, easy to get to option for business, getting together with the girls...anything. \r \r The staff is friendly and thorough. The owner, Jeff will know you by name....a sweet bonus uncommon these days.\r \r Great atmosphere!!! Pros: Casual contemporary neighborhood feel...gourmet food Cons: patio dining would be nice, but it was raining. more
