People, the Brookfield restaurant, with the giant cow on top, ROCKS. It's old-style breakfast palace at its finest. With the giant vintage revolving pie case alone, it is worth a trip there with your Chicago Tribune to eat breakfast. I live out of state and EVERY time I am in Chicago, I make a trip to the Brookfield Restaurant. Why? Mostly because of the pie case, hypnotically revolving its pies, but the service is good, the food is delicious, and the old school decor. It feels like home.
