My experiance with Brooke was absolutely amazing. Brooke has taken my family pictures, my senior photos, and as of last year, my wedding photos. She has a unique eye and is very reliable. She has made our photography experiences dear to our hearts. She is not only an amazing photographer she became a dear friend. Throughout the months planning my wedding I was determined that I didnt need a wedding planner or coordinator for planning, or the day of services. Brooke showed up to my wedding 2 hours early as said she would, took our pre-shots and helped me when I couldnt get everyone together for the ceremony. She is such an amazing photographer and helped me coordinate my weddding day so my day would be perfect. I am so grateful to her and my photos turned out amazing! I highly recommend her and her staff. I think anyone who could say anything that ive just read negative about her are either her competition or jealous competitors so they decide to make up the most utterly retarded lies. My husband is in the NFL and Ive been through enough to know that this above sentance is so true. Dont let anything said on this page about her let you think she is not an amazing, professinal, photographer. just look at her website and then decide whether you think that what was said may be true. No matter what any of these low class, unproffesional, and unreliable so called customers have to say about Brooke Tarvin and her amazinf Artwork---I absolutely was AMAZED and completely SATISFIED with every picture she captured. She has done my family portraits, senior pictures, and several friends' weddings and everyone I have come to contact with is in LOVE with her amazing attitude, qaulity, and work. not to mention her LOVE for her work. Yes, she went through a hardship and was unable to work at full capacity for 2 yeaers because of her husband's near death experience with his battle of cancer, but tell me- who would be at a time like that? Anyone who has had the opportunity of having her capture their moments in life shouild be nothing but grateful- beacause she is truly the most talented photography i have ever had the pleasure of working with and I will continue to go to her for every special occasion. We began with a well presented professional who claims she has amazing training and will take the best pictures of anybody in Shreveport. At our initial appointment, she is 35 minutes late. When we viewed the pictures, we realized 4 proofs were missing. I called 3 to 4 times before I ever got a response. Then, they said, ""Oh, we will look for them."" Needless to say, I never heard back, for 4 months. Then I called again, 2 to 3 times before I was able to get an adequate response, and they admitted that they had LOST the photos. So, I say I'll be just happy to order from what is available and at least have a few pictures. Well, we ordered, they said it would take about 1 month. Of course, I heard no response from Brooke Tarvin's assistant or her. Again, I call, recieve no response for 5 calls or so. I even went to her business and find an engaged couple in the parking lot waiting for 45 minutes for her so they could begin their photo shoot. I begin exchanging conversation with them and they inform me of what they are doing and that Brooke attends their church. Well, needless to say, as they are extremely frustrated, I explain why I am also waiting, and they were shocked. Finally, after they dialed her personal number and waited for 1 hour, this adorable couple gave up. I've never recieved one picture of him, no proofs, and no reconciliation from their behalf! She gladly took our $600.00O, but never offered any means to fulfill her obligation to provide the services that she claims she will provide you with! Obviously, we all know time can not be captured in a bottle, nor can wedding,engagement, or our children's photos! Please, save yourself from stress and disgust by booking with a photographer who will give you the quality and time for your precious loved ones. This was the worst experience i encountered with a photographer-ever. i paid $3,000 and got horrible pictures. First, for my engagments, she spent 15 min. with me and took only 20 pictures. they turned out terrible and i had to reshoot them. The next time, i thought she would do a better job and spend more time with us. She didn't. So, when i picked up my engagement pictures, i had a total of 30 pictures to choose from and most of them were black and white copies of the colored ones. For my bridals, she spent 45 min. and took about 35 pictures. and none of them are like the ones she has on her website. As for my wedding, she took a few from the back of the church, everyone has red eyes, none of us lighting the unity candle and none of us kissing, also, none of us walking out. I had on one picture of me walking down the aisle and i had red eyes. Also, i didn't receive my album until a year later-that wasn't even the album i ordered. It was a small cardboard album with wallet-sized pictures you couldn't take out. Then when i tried to ask for my cd, which i thought was include with the $3,000 i spent, she told me i couldn't have it. So i ended up with a few proofs that looks like a polaroid took them. The website looks good, but that's about it. Unless you have money and are ""somebody"". Your wedding is something you can't redo. Please spend your money elsewhere. Cons: everything more
