If you want to be treated like a homeless dog, then go there. Otherwise, don't. The rudeness of the staff is beyond belief, they have no business etiquette when dealing with customers who are not satisfied with their services. I called them to ask about something I needed to bring to the apptm only to have them waiting on the phone. I hung up and called again and had one of them berate me about how busy they were but had the time to argue with me instead of just listening for the reason for my call. I never got a word in, so I went in person to speak to the 'supervisor' who was even more rude than the other employee. She didn't let me talk either and just went ahead to berate me in front of the people there and threaten to call the police on me. So, please, they may seem fine until they screw up and you'll see their real lack of business etiquette for the public. more

I would like to acknowledge, Dr. B., he is Dr. Katz's partner. He is also an amazing Veterinarian. He is passionate about his field, I know with him my pet is safe, happy and treated well. The staff's focus is on maintaing the health of my pet. In my observation they seem loyal to all their clients. It's a wonderful environment ! This vet Is rude and unkind he has no passion left or love of animals. This place is taking advantage of the Bronx community. High Prices for horrible care. Go to the vets on Riverdale Ave. in Riverdale. The Prices are not much higher. They love animals. Bronxites you deserve the best. more

I am a client of Dr Katz for the last 10 years. Dr Katz and his staff are very nice to me and my pets all the time no matter how busy they are or how tired they are ...I love the new hospital I was looking at the review posted before (the one w/one start for services) and it not only makes very upset because I know the comments posted are not true but my question to felaa ""why after 7 years of bad service as you call it you keep going there "":if I go to buy a cup of coffee and is bad I will never be back and this is only coffee if my beloved pets are been treated bad I look for another pet ..that is why I said ""felaa you are the one PURE HOGWASH""and wron g for posting somenthing that heartfull to this business more

It's a shame that this hospital is called the Bronx Veterinary Center because if this is the best the Bronx has to offer that is just pathetic. I've never taken my cat to Park Ave vets, but I know their claim to offer ""Park Avenue Care"" is about as empty as they come. Pure hogwash. My cat's been seeing these vets for over 7 years now (she also received care at the previous location). Their lack of professionalism has become more apparent, now that my cat's health has become more delicate in her older age. In the past year, she's been to these vets on 4 separate occasions. In this time they've managed to screw up a blood sample, so she had to return for them to do it on another day. In this time, they've called me giving another cat's blood results. In this time they've managed to have her in the hospital for 4 consecutive days (expensive!), and send her home with nothing more than generic antibiotics (also expensive!). The vet that she has seen most often seems to have lost almost all passion for his job, as he is lethargic and insensitive. He mentioned my cat's (old) age a couple times, as if not much should be expected. His insensitive emphasis on her old age is probably just a ploy for them to give her subpar treatment. Believe me those things just top the list. In sum, they've done nothing for her ongoing ailment of vomiting and losing weight. There are a lot of positive reviews for this business, which I admit has been satisfactory in the past, but of late they have dropped the ball far too often and when it really counts. Based on my recent experiences there is NO way they can be considered a ""top of the line"" animal hospital. more

My family and I have been clients of Concourse Animal Hospital, Since the beginning. Over the years they have maintained superb care. Dr. Katz and his staff treats their clients like extended family. There were many but to share one example; When my pet was ill Dr. Katz was sincerely concerned about her condition, he followed up on her well being long after the bill was paid. He is not all about the finances, he genuinely cares about our pet's health. It's a pleasure to have a facility in these times with integrity,patience, and professionalism. Dr. Katz is not just a dedicated veterinarian he's also an amazing human being. You can TRUST Dr. Katz and staff with your beloved pet, I'm grateful !!!
