Best VETS out there 1/31/2014

The whole staff is awesome! They really care about your animals and you as a person. When I've had to put my pets down they were so compassionate. They let me hold my pet and kiss them good-bye, they even cried with me. After the death of my pet they called to check on me and send cards. I totally trust them, they are not in it for money, they really care about animals. When my pets have had surgery it's always gone well, they answer questions, call to check on your pet and are available if anything goes wrong afterwards. I've used them for close to 20 years and will continue to do so even though I moved farther away! LOVE THEM!! more

This is the Best! 10/5/2011

Dr Baker and his staff have been caring for my menagerie for over 30 years. They have seen us through 5 cats, 1 Norwegian Elkhound, 1 English Bulldog, 1 Pug and they currently care for my miniature English Bulldog. They have been unfailingly kind, gentle, caring and conscientious, treating each of our babies from infancy to ends of their lives. I recommend Dr. Baker and his clinic to anyone who asks and I would never consider taking my beloved pets anywhere else. more

sad day 11/28/2010

i have brought 2 of my dogs to this vet and continue to take them. we had to take my 4month 3day old american bulldog there his name was buddy he became sick very suddenly i took care of him all weekend and when we called they told us to come straight in my husband brought him in they called him every hour to let him know what was going on and when things took a turn for the worst they called immediately to let us know they let us have as much time as we needed with him and then also let us take our time to come up with the money to pay them. the workers here are great very friendly and the staff does everything they can to help your animals. thank you so much for your services. more

Awesome clinic 6/21/2010

My daughters and I have been taking our cats to Dr. Baker for over 30 years. About 6 years ago I moved to Plymouth and tried a couple of different vets. Neither one had the "bedside manner" that Dr. Baker has. I went back to him even though it's much farther for me to travel, it's well worth it. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to listen and explain things. more

This is the best vet I have found in the Twin Cities. After a horrifying experience at an expensive emergency vet, who ended up refusing to even look at my cat without a session in the gas chamber for sedation, I was left with a $300 bill and no answers or medication for my cat. I immediately made a random appointment with Dr. Baker the next day, and I could not believe how great of an experience it was. He took the time to calm my easily frightened cat, and ended up providing a quick and painless exam to my kitty. We were out of there with answers and medicine for less than 1/3 the price of the emergency vet, and most of all, I felt their compassion for my pet and my financial situation. What great people - I will never take my pets anywhere else.\r \r I felt compelled to write today.. we are taking one of our sweet babies in to take her last breathe, and I trust this clinic will help us do the right thing at the right time, without any motives for our money. more

Broadway Robbinsdale Animal Hospital 10/16/2009

We have been bringing our pet there for eight years and the doctors and staff are just wonderful. They are always so caring and gentle with the animals, and patient answering our many questions. We just had our dog there for teeth cleaning and the procedure was everything we were looking for - high quality anesthetic, more than one person in the room, IV catheter for fluids (per our request), pain management, pre-op bloodwork, etc. To top it off, it wasn't very expensive. A very positive experience every time we are there. I highly recommend them! more

As we chose Broadway Robbinsdale Animal Hospital as the vet for our new puppy, we relied heavily upon the online reviews that rate many of the local veterinary clinics in our area. Virtually every review for Broadway Robbinsdale Animal Hospital was a praising and positive review. We would like to confirm the positive experiences expressed in these reviews and add our own heaps of praise onto the pile. \r Dr. Mergener has consistently offered thorough and detailed examinations when necessary, and she does a very good job of taking sufficient time to explain the situation with our puppy. We've tried other vets over the years and have been treated rudely or like walking ATM's-not here! All the staff here are kind, courteous and really love animals..and their owners! Dr's Baker and Mergener are very competant and caring and I trust them implicitly. B.R.A.H. is what all vet care should be like. more

We LOVE Dr. Baker! 11/24/2008

My bulldog was having some bladder issues and after over $500 at another vet there was no change. My mom (who owns great danes, VERY hard to find a good vet for them) recommended Dr. Baker. He found that the bladder problems were due to puppy vaginitis and told us to let her go through her first heat. It's a good thing we went to Dr. Baker because the other vet was going to spay her the following week! Now she is doing great and we still see Dr. Baker. more

Great Prices 10/14/2008

We just took our dog to get checked out. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. They seemed like they genuinely liked animals and were very kind. The prices were very reasonable. The outside of the building seems a little run down, but once you are on the inside, it doesn't matter. more

We won't go anywhere else 7/24/2008

We've been going to Broadway Animal Hospital for 20 years. Their prices are very reasonable and I trust their judgement. Several years ago, when we moved we tried another vet. That vet charged double and pushed for unnecessary treatments. When we got a new kitten that became ill, the new vet claimed there was nothing to do but put it to sleep. We got a second opinon at Broadway. One shot and the kitten was well. It lived for thirteen years. Now we only go to Broadway. more

Wonderful Place! 6/4/2008

I've taken my dogs and cats to Dr. Baker for years. I have never had a bad experience yet. It's the only place I trust and I know the staff who work there all love animals and would never mistreat a animal of any kind. I've had to put two beloved pets to sleep and the staff and Dr. Baker made the experience as good as it could be. They allowed us the time alone we needed, didn't rush us, treated our pets with care and love, and didn't make us feel bad for bawling like babies. The prices are the best I've seen and they always follow up on your pet after surgery to make sure they are doing well. All I can say is when Dr. Baker retires it will be a sad day for me and my pets! more

The best in town 3/26/2008

We have been faithful clients of Dr. Baker's for 15 years. He has taken great care of our shelties, Lady and Cheyenne. And yes, the staff loves animals. They are all very professional and kind. They have set up appointments at the last minute and the prices are very reasonable. You can't ask for a more caring group of care providers. more

Wouldn't take my dog anywhere else 1/2/2008

I've been taking my dog for regular checkups and shots since he was a puppy and have never been dissapointed. Staff is courteous, knowledgable and helpful. Rates are quite reasonable compared to other vets I have been to as well. more

I trust these folks. 12/5/2007

I recently brought my kitty Jada in after finding two lumps. Every person I talked to was very friendly, and when she was staying overnight after her surgery, I was able to call in after-hours and check on her...which did much good for this mommy's heart. Jada will be coming here for future care. Pros: Long-established business Cons: not much parking more

Just want to let everyone know that this is the BEST pet hospital in the world.We have been going here for at least 25 years and the staff has taken awesome care of all the pets that we have had.They are kind caring loving and very supportive of your pets.I have told so many people about this place they have all starting taking there pets and would never change and cant believe how wonderful they are. Very Pleased 5/6/2006

We have brought our cats here for a long time and have never been disappointed with the care or service. The prices are very competetive and they really care. They take the time play with your pet and calm them if they are nervous-- They don't just poke and prod. If an overnight stay is required they make them very comfortable and take time to call and keep you updated! I have never seen such involved Vets before and recommend them highly! more

The staff here is great. They always greet me with a warm hello and smiles. They are very knowledgable and answer all our questions as best as they can. The prices are a little high, which would be nice if they were lower. I would highly recommend coming here. Very nice people! more
