Twenty one months ago I signed an agreement with this company. A month ago, I needed to vacate my condominium while the builder remedied the Chinese wallboard that was used to build it. This meant taking the walls down to the studs and completely re-wiring the place.
I called Broadview customer support, to ask for a "vacation" of six months from paying the monthly fees. They declined my request and have made me pay for the remaining four months on my contract...despite the fact that I no longer live there until the rebuild is completed.
Find another security system vendor.
