This was not the greatest experience. My expectations were high upon arrival and I left very disappointed. The food should have been much more flavorful. Even the mashed potatoes and grilled veggies were bland. Our server may have quite possibly working his very first shift ever. He was horribly slow, forgetful, inattentive, and lacked in personality. Additionally, he was very hard to understand. It seemed that management was completely unaware of our wait time. In fact, I never saw someone who appeared to be managing the place with the exception of the head chef hard at work. On a positive note, the wine list had variety and several affordable options. Also, the naturalist/modernist-style decor was not bad; however, our table was most awkwardly placed which made the atmosphere confusing.
Pros: New spot to try - may improve in the future. Good wine list and cheese plate (of course).
Cons: Service needs MAJOR training and improvement (remember, pleasing the customer is what it's all about)! Menu has good intentions but lacks in flavor.
