Saw an ad for a used car for sale at Bristol Motor Works. They claimed that the timing belt and water pump had been changed and offered a 6,000 or 6 mo. warranty. The price seemed in the ballpark. I called to verify what was said in the ad and then took the 1 hour trip to go see the car. more

The lady who says not to is one of those people who want to get out of paying her bill. I was there when she started screaming at the employees and blaming Motor works for her car problems. She was the one who put the wrong oil in her car, or allowed someone else like midas to mess it up. Then she took it to Motor Works for a different problem, and then refused to pay because she felt that they should fix the oil problem for free. She even had to be escorted out by the police for causing problems. Anyone can write a bad review. Too bad others were around to tell the truth. We have been going to 'BMW' since. We moved into town 3 years ago and wouldn't take our vehicles anywhere else. more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE 3/23/2011

Brought in my VW. They told me they fixed my car and just 2 weeks later the same problem acted up. When I contacted them they were extremely rude. I was hung up on numerous times. Upon having the car looked at by another mechanic, it turns out they never fixed the car. They lied and ripped me off. AVOID THIS PLACE!! more

It has been three months now since we purchased our son's BMW 330XI We serched for BMW for awhile now & saw that you guys were a german specialty shop here in town so we took a chance & I have to say it was the easiest transaction we have ever made! I must say that you guys made us feel like we were part of your family-yes including Lucy! The lady that said the owner sicked her dog at them-well take that with a grain of salt because she is the mellowist dog I have met. You made our puchasing experience a breeze. We will be seeing you for our next son's car in a few months. After returing today for service on our Z3 it makes us more reassuring that your guys stand by your word & dedication to Bristol! Thanks again..Mr & Mrs. Millkarzs & family. We will bring the coffee next time! more

bristol motor work will rip you off! places like this are the reason used car sales has a bad name, and people like them are the reason that god doesnt talk to us anymore. they glued my 03 jetta together so it would look nice on the test drive, and it started falling apart on the way home. when i confronted them about the severe repairs it needed they hung up on me. now im stuck with over a thousand dollars worth of repairs on a car i bought a week ago. they are scoundrels, do not patronize this establishment more

Avoid! 5/7/2010

Bought a Suburban, seemed like a great car. They claimed it came with a new transmission, and made promises about fixing various things on it before I picked it up. When I picked it up the things needing fixing had NOT been attended to, but since they were relatively minor (dings in windshield, taillight broken) I took the car anyway. They DID fix the taillight, but the dings in the windshield were never addressed, and to be fair I didn't feel like continuously harping on them about it. Cons: They LIED to me! more

great place to go if you own a car! 12/16/2009

We discovered bristol motor works shopping for a used car for our sons commute to school and a year later the car runns great.We have been back for service work and the prices are very resonable.Shopping for and suv and watching new inventory on there website at bristolmotorworks. Pros: very reasonable prices Cons: located to far from our house. more
