I moved to Brighton Ridge sight unseen from AZ, when my fiance and I moved up to Seattle in July of '08. We were pleasantly surprised. The apartment we moved into was extremely clean, had new carpet, was bright with a lot of windows and spacious (it was a larger 1 bedroom). Moving into this neighborhood in the summer was the best introduction to the Seattle area. Gene Coulon Beach and Lake Washington were where we spent many evenings after work, having a dinner picnic in the park. + Brighton Ridge is so centralized. We could easily get to Bellevue, downtown Seattle, Southcenter Mall, Ikea or Kent Station in a matter of minutes. I also fell in love with some of the local business in downtown Renton - like the eclectic bars, great antique stores, Common Ground Cupcakes and Calico Cheesecakes. We didn't get to live at Brighton Ridge for too long, as we moved into a home we purchased, but everything about living in that community was great. Not to mention, I really liked the office/management - which was a refreshing bonus.
Pros: Amazing price for a nice, clean apartment.
