In order of events - lost hot water for a week this winter. Had to call Boston Mayor's office to get THEM to send an inspector out, because Brighton Realty people are never in the office and their phone number and email doesn't work. CO2 alarms went off, so Boston Fire Department shut off our heat for the night to stop the flow so we wouldn't DIE IN OUR SLEEP. The BPD Chief was irate because most of the CO2 and fire alarms in the building/apartments were not working and didn't have batteries. This week, they're installing fire water sprinklers in our apartment, probably at the mandate of Boston -- why didn't we have these before? Finest safety measures! Lastly, they never plow the snow from the parking spots beside the apartment, even on weekdays when the spots are empty and can be plowed. Oh, and the dryers constantly break down and generally require two full dries to fully dry clothes (so plan on spending double on your laundry). The mail in my mailbox is almost always ripped open. Unsafe, overpriced, and DIRTY.
