I can say that I am extremely disappointed with my experiences at Brightnow dental. My original dentist Dr.Johnson left from the office ( Tampa, Fl Hillsborough location) and none of his patient's were notified of the change. I go into my appointment and here I am greeted by a complete stranger without a simple heads up. I got over it and continued my dental services with the company, I would soon learn that would be my biggest mistake. I went on to let this dentist perform cosmetic dentistry for me in the form of permanent veneers. The temporary veneers were falling out within 12 hours of being applied, that was my second red flag. They reassured me nothing like this would occur after I received my permanent veneers. They will last for years and I would be satisfied withthe results. I had spaces in my teeth so I was happy to know I would not have to live with them anymore. After dealing with my temporary veneers for 2 weeks I finally receive my permanent veneers. I was so excited, unfortunately that wouldn't last long. Within one day my left canine permanent veneer fell out in my sleep and I awoke to it laying on my tongue. The next day the right canine came out while I was brushing my teeth. At this point I was livid. They tried to figure out why they continued to fall out even after being replaced and bonded. Several dentists from Brightnow dental have been in my mouth and my teeth are still falling out now. I have since been informed that due to my teeth grinding at night ( which was reported to Dr.Johnson initially and documented in my initial paperwork that was never reassessed by this new dentist or staff until now!) my veneers are being plucked off one by one and that my veneers were not shaped to help in any way form or fashion when they were initially placed. So every night I may wake up with a tooth here or there. Brightnow tried to make things right by offering me a night guard to help protect the veneers( which I still have not received) but the distress is beyond repair. This all began back in early December 2012 & I just woke up to a missing tooth again today 1/12/13. They have single handily ruined my Christmas, New Years, & even a vacation I took to the Bahamas at the end of december, as during all of these occasions I was either missing a tooth or teeth. I have decided to seek legal guidance because I feel like the negligence in my care has just been to extreme to overlook.I have lost 5lbs due to the fear of eating and a veneer potentially falling out. I've even had my veneer fall out while talking to my co workers which are doctors and nurses, as I am a registered nurse. So hopefully my story is read and saves another person from the embarassment & suffering I have experienced during this month long ordeal. I hate to say it but this company should be less worried about how many facilities they have in Florida and more worried about providing their patients with quality care!
