BAD IDEA FOR ICE SHOWS 1/9/2016

MY FRIEND WENT TO THE THURSDAY OPENING SHOW FOR DISNEY ON ICE AND SAID THERE WERE PUDDLES ON THE ICE WHICH SEEMED ODD. FRIDAY NIGHT WENT ALL THE WAY DOWN THERE AND JUST AT 6:30 WAITING IN LINE THEY ANOUNCED THE SHOW WAS CANCELLED DUE TO PROBLEMS WITH THE ICE. THEY KNEW FOR 24 HOURS BUT YET WAITIED UNTILL EVERYONE SHOWED UP TO LET US ALL KNOW WE WASTED OUR TIME. WOW, THERE WERE LOTS OF CRYING CHILDREN THAT EVERYONE HAD TO SCHLEP ALL THE WAY HOME. DON'T THESE PEOPLE HAVE KIDS? NEXT TIME I WILL USE THE XL CENTER. more

Arena at Harbor Yard is great 4/1/2006

I love seeing concerts and shows at the Arena at Harbor Yard. It is just the right size, certainly not too big, yet big enough to land great acts. Just wish they would have more music concerts. If you get tickets early enough you can get awesome seats, and really there aren't any bad seats in the house anyway. At the last show I saw there they stopped selling beer and alcohol at ten pm which we didn't expect or plan for, so be forewarned. I am hoping they will start to have a lot more shows in the future, since they only really seem to have about one per month, which stinks. more

The place to go to see a show. 8/21/2005

This is a great place to see a show, whether it be a concert, ice show, family show, etc. We saw Disney on Ice there and a concert. Very nice set up, good security, easy parking, clean bathrooms. The bars offer more than just beer which is nice for the non-beer drinkers. The concession stands and food stands are spaced nicely throughtout the arena. Its a small intimate venue worthwhile to go to to see a show. more
