I worked for Bridge Street Interiors for an internship that was required for my school. As a school requirement it is up to the business if they want to pay the intern. When I was hired I was told that I would be making X amount of dollars an hour. After two weeks I went the owner and asked when I would be getting paid and she said that she would pay me one lump sum at the end. So on my very last day I went to her for the money and she said that she was not going to pay me. As a college student I had limited money for the school year and was totally counting on that money. My parents wrote her a letter about her not professional practices and we received no response. If someone treats their employees this way then how do they treat their clients? You do not promise someone something and then change your mind. She was very unprofessional, I would never do business with someone like this.\r
