My daughter is getting married in August so we stopped in to look at dresses. She is a very hard person to please and I thought for sure we were going to be in and out just like all the other stores we have visited. To my surprise she was very interested in a dress that the lady explained can be hemmed up a little so it will fit her properly. We have even decided to get the bridesmaid dresses here as well. Very friendly people and we will be back in a few weeks for the other dresses! more

My consultant was Desiree, and she was SUPURB!!!! She is very knowledgeable and easy going. She only works weekends, so make sure to book a weekend appointment with her. She let me try on as many dresses as I wanted and she even made a few suggestions of her own without being over bearing. She also let my mom come back into the dressing rooms with me and help, while my sister and best friend were allowed to wait in the ""modeling"" area to take pictures. Desiree encouraged us to take as many pictures as we wanted and she took her time with me as well; answering all the questions I had. I think Bridal Mart is a great store, i've gotten 2 Brides Maids Dresses there and plan on getting my wedding dress there. I have sent all of my friends and family there and everyone who has gone there has loved it. They have the best dresses town at such a great price!!! The people who work there are great and make you feel right at home. I would strongly recommend Bridal Mart for any of your wedding needs. Pros: 2 Thumbs Up !! more

I ordered a dress from Bridal Mart 10 months before my wedding. I was told it would take 4-6 months for the dress to come in...no problem. After 5 months I had not received a call so I decided to call them and find out about my dress. The manager told me that I had cancelled my dress! I knew I had not and asked her for evidence. She tells me that she remembers my voice (from 4 months earlier!!!) When I asked what my options were, knowing they had sold my dress to another client, she was rude and hung up the phone on me! After calling many times I finally was able to speak with her again. I was told there were no options and I was out of luck. She also refused to give my deposit back that I had put on the dress. It took 4 more months, many phone calls from my brother (a lawyer), and meetings with the CEO just to get my deposit back. I had to quickly find a dress from another store to add to the hassle of it all. I strongly recommend that you do NOT go to Bridal Mart if you are looking to be treated with respect. I went to Bridal Mart and had a wonderful experience. My consultant was Yvette and she was amazing!! I had never tried on gowns before , so I had no idea where to start. She helped me find wedding dresses that really suited my body type. I finally found "" THE DRESS"" thanks to Yvette's help. I was able to put it on layaway for a small deposit. I will be coming back with my bridesmaids to order dresses. I highly recommend going to this store because they have beautiful dresses and great customer service. Before going to Bridal Mart I went to few other shops. I had terrible service at all of them. I was so frustrated I didn?t even want to keep looking that day. But since my family had driven 3 hours to come dress shopping with me, I thought I would go to one more store. I was a bit put off by the name of the company and expected a warehouse atmosphere. Instead I walked in the door and everyone was in a good mood and congratulated me on getting engaged. (Two things that I had not seen happen at any of the other stores.) They took me and my Mother to the back room to look at dresses. The atmosphere was calm and not at all stressful like David? Bridal. I had my own clerk to help dress me. She listened to what I wanted and even talked with a manager so they could both pull more dresses for me. I found two dresses that I loved and the clerk had no problem with me changing into both dresses over and over again. Only one person is allowed in the back with you at a time. But you get to come out to a viewing room for the rest of the party to see you in the dress. The viewing room is a lot of fun, because your friend get to see you all put together. I have four weddings to attend in the next 4 months ahhh! So I wanted to get a nice dress I could just wear to all four! I went to their red tag sale and got a good deal. The dress was too big and their alterations were over priced, so I just took it to my personal tailor. I really didn't need customer service and I prefer not to be bothered by sales clerks when I am shopping and I wasn't. I did notice the sales women chatting alot and if this would bother you then I wouldn't go. I was able to browse on my own to find a dress at a decent price and the sales women who helped me somewhat was nice. Pros: Not bothered when shopping Cons: Some people want assistance and they didn't seam to offer that, expensive alterations more

My experience will Bridal Mart has been terrible. The tags were removed from the dresses on display and the staff refused to tell who the maker of the dress is. However, they promise that you are getting a real bargain and saving money. The bridal gown I purchased was made by Allure and could have been purchased from several off places in town or on-line for $350.00-$500 less the advantage price. Bridal Mart charges for an advantage card and shipping. The advantage card does not save consumers money and the dresses are highly overpriced. In addition, the charges are slipped in at the very last moment (shipping, steaming not included, alterations, advantage card, and more). Be careful! The management is terrible and the store is dirty! In addition, the dresses they over charge for might even be knock offs. Brides should not be stressed out or made the cry! Honesty and integrity are required for stellar service - Bridal Mart does provide these! There are small shops in Citrus Heights and downtown that will really take care of a bride and not over charge! Cons: Service, Quality, Honesty, Cleanliness more

For an off the rack wherehouse-like store, their prices were pretty high ($600+). The sales people are good until they start to think that you might not buy today, then they literally say ""you've tried on enough dresses."" You'll see dresses that you won't see anywhere else, but they won't let you take pictures to help you decide. They'll also try to pressure you into buying.
