Brickrow National City-First of all we have not had hot water for over three months (right when a new boiler was replaced). I was told to put things in writing. It took them a month to send a plumber. They sent two plumbers from the same company instead of getting two different bids. The first plumber stated that the problem was not HOA related and that the cartridge from five different units all went bad simultaneously and blamed the homeowners. I called my own plumber who said this was not true, it was the boiler. I complained so much that they finally sent another plumber that said it was some pump, became nervous and reported that it was both. The have have not fixed the problem. I do not have hot water, I told Adriana that this was a direct violation of a civic code, that we where wasting water and a violation of a basic need. She refused to give me a time line and Adriana told me ""i would have to learn to live with cold water"". Jim Ladd never answers a question or return a call/ email. I was harassed by Roberto a couple years ago, where he was yelling and threatening me regarding paperwork from previous management company that they neglected to pick up for over seven months. Their people skills with the exception of Karina are unprofessional and downright rude. I had requested to have the financial documents sent to me due to my being disabled and not being able to go to their business, i offered to pay postage, they finally sent them to me after my initial request in 2007 (only four years later after i resent my request and threatened to send them a certified letter). They have to be the worst company i have worked with, I was the HOA president at one time and realize that our current board needs to tell them what to do instead of the other way around. Very frustrated and encourage anyone working with this company to keep a paper trail, take pictures and get everything in writing. organize the homeowners look into your rights! Pros: we have vendors (although they do subpar work) Cons: The vendors overcharge and are not held accountable. more
