Fabulous Brazilian Blowout - I love my hair again! 7/5/2011

After another salon that I had scheduled an appointment with suddenly went out of business, I went on a search to find a great salon that could do my Brazilian Blowout QUICKLY as I had just had my hair cut/colored, and am leaving for a beach vacation in 4 days. I called around, and got various price quotes and recommendations. I was blessed to find Lindsey and the Brickhouse Retreat Salon and Day Spa. I got my apppointment quickly, got excellent service in a wonderful environment, and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Plus, I love my hair again! Although not inexpensive, I felt their pricing was fair, and the quality is unmistakeable. I will DEFINITELY be going back, and will recommend Brickhouse to everyone looking for a quality salon. I will be trying other services there as well, as I like to reward excellent service with loyalty. Thank you Brickhouse, and Lindsey! more

Body Treatments and Massage Heavenly! 11/8/2010

I have been going to The Retreat for years to get massage, but recently I decided to try something new. I got a body wrap. If you have never tried one- you need to NOW! I had their Musclease wrap. HEAVENLY! Not only was i wrapped in heat, my aches taken away, I also received a mini facial and mini full body massage. I was reading some of the other reviews and kept seeing the same name- Amber. She is my therapist and was able to do my treatment as well. She is amazing and so is The Retreat! more

Massage isa miracle cure! 6/26/2008

My wife gave me a gift certificate for a massage at The Brick House Retreat- I was a little hesitant to go just because the few that i have had have been awful! The pressure is never any good and its always very choppy. I decided to give massage another try just so the gift certificate wouldn't go to waste. I was with a very petite therapist named Amber Vickrey- and at first I wasn't to excited just because she was so small- What could she really do.. ya know? Her consultation was amazing and very detailed- i was feeling a little better. Now once she got her hands on me i was impressed- the pressure was perfect- she found all the right spots! As young as she looked she has been doing massage since 2000 and her skills were definetly perfected. I will never go anywhere else or to anyone else except for Amber Vickrey at the Brick House Retreat. She is FANTASTIC! I felt like I had a new body and now I am going once a month and its worth every penny to not be in pain anymore. Not only was the service great but so was the staff- go to The Brick House Retreat and just disappear for an hour- I promise you won't regret it. Pros: Massage was great and very skilled. Cons: none more

This is such a nice salon. I have been to alot of salons, but the brickhouse is the best! All of the stylists are very good. I really like Jesi and Rachel. It smells good, it feels good, and you leave looking amazing. more

Best experience ever! Don't go anywhere else but The Retreat! 11/10/2007

My cute boyfriend gave me a gift certificate to The Retreat and it was the best gift he has ever given me. The atmosphere was so amazing i was completely relaxed as soon as i walked in the door. My day consisted of a salt scrub body treatment , a 60 min massage, and a pedicure. My therapists name was Amber Vickrey- (she also did my scrub) i was a puddle of goo by the time she was done with me. My skin from the scrub was baby soft and glowing- they have this great maragita scub i recomend. The massage was the best I've ever had. She was very petite, but strong and very professional. The steamed towels on my feet at the end had to be one of the best things ever. But she had this presence of healing- i was in heaven! The pedicure was just as good- my feet felt like they needed to go out on the town- and thats exactly what i did that night- Chantal did my pedicure. She was so great with making sure i was comfortable at all times- Go to The Brick House Retreat!!! Go now! For every birthday, christmas, anniversary etc. thats all i want is a gift certificate there! 5 stars Pros: Staff, atmosphere, treatments.... Everything! Cons: none more

Worth the wait! 7/16/2007

Im an avid goer to The Brick House Retreat- and ive noticed lately if i don't rebook for my next apt sometimes its almost impossible to get in! Which is great because i know The Retreat has the best of the best service providers- but bad for me when i don't rebook :( So all i can say is rebook before you leave each and every service provider is in high demand there because they are the best!!!! more

Pampering at its best! 11/13/2006

I have experienced just about every service that The Brick House has to offer, and I love it! They really seek out talented professionals... I have never been disappointed when going for a manicure, pedicure, hair appointment or waxing. And if you go, choose the cucumber ice water when they offer it. It sounds odd, but it tastes great! more

Amazing 7/14/2005

Wow, I bought a gift certificate for my sweetheart and not only did she come home completely relaxed and looking stunning, but she showed me just how much she appreciated her experience there over and over and over!! This was by far the best gift I have ever given her! Her response was so dramatic that I decided to give it a try myself. So we had the couples massage and spa package, and all I can say is... well you should just see for yourself. You won't regret it! Pros: Gorgeous people, Gorgeous facility, Totally World Class Cons: I Can't think of any more

They Do Hair Extensions!! 8/29/2002

Not only is Brick House Square Retreat the best day spa and salon around, but I have never been more pleased with my hair ever! The stylist are so well educated that they let you know everything that you need to do to maintain healthy hair. They also have the best technique for hair extentions, they look so natural and are not damaging to your hair. I LOVE IT!!! The most relaxing atmosphere 8/26/2002

The Brick House Square Retreat has a great atmosphere. There is nothing better than getting a day away from the rest of the world and pampering yourself. You feel like you float out the door after a massage, facial or pedicure. Even my husband can't resist his monthly facial. The Brick House square Retreat is by far the best spa in Salt Lake City. The Retreat is a place that you can forget your worries and disappear for a day! The atmosphere is captivating and I never wanted to leave! They have the best massage therapists and their hairstylists know exactly what they are doing! Go visit them today- you won't regret it!     The Services
    Clients select from facials, manicures and pedicures, body treatments and massages. Facials, including microdermabrasion, are customized to a woman's skin type, while the gentleman's facial and manicure are designed with a man's skin and nails in mind. Mud wraps, herbal infusion wraps and seaweed body treatments are great stress relievers. In addition to special facilities for maternity and couples massages, Swedish, deep tissue and hot and chilled stone massages provide a range of options. When your feet require special attention, try the 80-minute pedicure: A three-step massage followed by a mud mask, healing oils, moisturizer and polish.
