I used to love this place, but since the reopening under new ownership, I'm greatly disappointed! the prices are about the same, but you get a lot less for the money. The cozy and inviting atmosphere has been replaced with a more lunchroomesque feeling. they have decided that quantity is more important than quality, and more seating is more important than ambiance.
Several of the mainstays of the menu have been removed, including all the foccocia bread sandwiches, and the yummy soups. they replaced these well loved items with things like peanut butter and jelly (because we all know we want to go to a coffee house and pay to get that for lunch)
As if these changes weren't enough, they also do not have the beautiful gift type items from local artisans on display to purchase, just a few abstract paintings (great if you like that kind of thing) and a couple of paintings of planets and space (again nice if you like this kind of thing, but not my cup of tea) beyond these meager decorations, the walls are basically bare and bereft of the personality and beauty of its former days in operation.
if you loved the OLD brick street and enjoyed the friendly service, don't waste your time in the NEW version. It will simply leave a bad taste in your mouth and marr all the great memories you had of the place!
